TOO MUCH OF A LEARNING CURVE FO AN OLE MAN. PREFER A WINDOWS BASED LAP TOP.

At first I was pleased with this purchase, but as soon as college classes began I realized Chromebooks do not support Respondus LockDown browser, the only system my college uses for proctored exams. I had to find a different device for my weekly proctored tests. I have had this computer for almost a year. Roughly 3 months ago it began randomly shutting down then when I would turn it back on I would get an error message saying that Chrome OS is either corrupt or not on the device. I would then have to go through uploading (using a thumb drive) Chrome operating system. It went from doing that randomly to anytime I closed the computer then opened it to use it again. I've spent countless hours troubleshooting with myself and HP. I just sent it to HP to see if they can fix it.

Good laptop for the price I got for on Black Friday it get’s the job done.

Better than average. New for me. Unsure items may confuse its real value.

i hate this darn computer!! i cant do crap with it! every single website and school stuff and craft projects isnt supported with chrome! i had no idea chrome was legit only for google and to watch netflix! worse computer ever!! doesnt support stuff!

Works good and isn’t too expensive would recommend, mouse is a little touchy.

I didn't like the Chromebook. The keyboard setup is crappy. No Caps lock, this is needed. I don't like the fact that using another type browser appears to be frowned upon and makes it's usefulness more difficult. Unfortunately, I dropped it and the screen got screwed up. I am not bothering fixing it, or buying another Chromebook.

Average. Wont suggest for others to buy this product.

It’s a great chrome book needs a bigger processor but it’s good

Little bit more full featured than your average chromebook but still not a full powered laptop.

Battery does not last very long especially if your playing games

I choose a chrome over iPad for kids school because of (a) it's great parental control, and (b) a bit cheaper price. I was wrong a. While parental control was great, I was not able to allow my son to watch school's YouTube instructional videos, so was almost useless b. The Chromebook flipped on the desk (literally was standing at tablet, flipped on its face) and immediately cracked the screen, turning into a piece of junk. c. This crack happened 4 weeks after delivery so Best Buy folks washed thier hands and said they won't take it in as they have 2 weeks return policy. d. Now I'm at manufacturers mercy to fix it. I compare than to our iPads, iPhones and Motorola's phone which the kids test very harshly, and they are surviving years! This is a fragile piece of junk that was the worst tech investment I ever made.

Thought this was a good chrome book its fsir at best Pricey too.. got for remote learning for my 9 yr old grandson. First day of school battery died 3 hours in .. i couldnt beleive it.. hard to understand and no users manual..not worth the money i spent which i didnt have .. i would not reccommend

I’m not sure I’m getting the right use out of it. It seems a little restrictive.
