Customers are saying

Customers find value in the touch screen, ease of use, and long battery life of this 2-in-1 Chromebook. Its lightweight design and strong performance are also frequently praised, along with the ample RAM and competitive price. However, some users mention limited storage capacity and occasional fan noise as drawbacks. A few also reported minor compatibility issues and some instances of the device overheating.

It works/it’s reasonably fast. What wasn’t apparent/reason for my lower review is chrome book is incompatible with design software (like cricut) which I didn’t realize when I bought it and now I’m stuck with this laptop that sort of sucks. Also note, there is no delete key.

Has been problematic since purchase. HP did a warranty repair but when that didn’t solve the problem they refused to make it right. I would not buy this product again and wish I has purchased something else.

I have been chromebook shopping for over a month now. I have been doing reviews and looking at all the competitors. I really wanted the new Spin 13 from Acer but I got sick and tired of waiting for it to come out and at the end of the day, I thought about pricing and ended up crossing it off my list. So, it came down to the Pixelbook, the new Dell Inspiron 14, the new Yoga 15, and the HP X360. Pixelbook- first class build, HUGE bezels. waay overpriced. (If it was still on sale at 750 the decision would have been harder.) Dell- Excellent build, almost apples to apples with HP but only 4 gigs of Ram. The memory scared me off. Yoga- 600 dollar chromebook and no lighted keyboard? Scratched off the list. HP- Everything that I wanted, ( I do not care about having a stylus.) My only con is there is only 64 gigs of storage. However, I can always put memory on a memory stick. I have had my HP for about a day now and I will say that I have been very impressed. I am still trying to learn the Chrome OS but I will get there. I went to the play store and downloaded Sonic the Hedgehog game which is very old school but it was a blast from the past. Screen is nice and crispy, keyboard has a nice feel, everything I have thrown at it so far has been super fast without any hesitation. If you are in the market for a Chromebook, definitely put this one on your list to try!

The streaming quality is poor. Clicking around the screen is loud. The USB ports are difficult to access. Not enough ports for what I do. The backlit keyboard is nice. Spent way too much money for something a $300 Chromebook could do better with better picture quality.

Bought this for my daughter to use at school at the COVID pandemic. She used it for the last 4 months of school in 2021 and 5 months into this school year- then the hard drive crashed. It was only used a couple hours a day at school for 9 months total. Even with Geek Squad Total Tech protection, I had to pay $85 for them to tell me it won’t work. I’m highly disappointed in both HP and Best Buy.

I would never buy another chromebook again. Its too confusing to work. It took me 3 hours just to set it up. I brought a Lenovo yoga and it took me less then one hour to set up. It took me less then one hour to set up and login to all my apps on my new s20 plus.

This is a very fragile chomebook and the corner of the screen cracked with the slightest touch. Although I could live with the crack, all the programs malfunctioned due to the fact that it was a touch screen. I bought this product 5 months ago and its basically worthless now. Given it was only $599, I didn't spend the extra for the additional protection thinking I could get a least a year out of it. Best Buy did nothing despite the elite status and being a total protection. So, I stay away from this product but I would only buy such a product at the lowest price possible as it will break easily and the cost to repair is the same as buying a replacement product. Huge disappointment from HP and from BB.

The laptop itself is good but the charger stopped working after 10 months that I got it and BB was closed due to corona virus and I couldn't get a replacement. Disappointed because I thought it would last longer or get replacement. Now I can't use the laptop.

The sound quality of the laptop that I bought is extremely poor. Another friend who bought her laptop from the same store as mine had the similar experience on a laptop of a different make. Seems like BEstbuy uses this tactic to lure customers into buying their 1 year guarantee/ warrantee after the 14 day grace period to exchange the instruments. I have owned the laptop for 2 weeks now and couldn’t bring it back to the store for exchanging due to the coronavirus scare and self quarantine

I bought this for my grade schooler for remote learning. Repeatedly she had to come to me for help with some Google Chromebook specific annoyance. I kept wishing, with each interruption, that I'd spent the extra money to buy her a regular computer. For drawing / writing on it, the stylus is way harder to control than the Surface Pen I use for my Microsoft Surface Book or the Apple Pen she uses on an iPad. Buy a PC or Apple and save your hard earned money.
