    My only two complaints are the fan can be loud from time to time. However in this devices defense on that I like to push the limits using the new Linux features and running Windows apps and games using WINE. The other would be it only having 64GB storage when it easily could have been 128GB but you get back-lit keyboard instead (love it). Storage can always be supplemented with a micro SD card. Keep your eyes open for sales and get big savings on this particular Chromebook. And if you are ok with open-box it can be had for even less. So you are saying "i3 CPU I don't think so", that's what most Windows users would say because we all know how much of drag Windows is on an i3. A Chromebook with the i3 feels like a really good i5 or lower end i7 processor imho. It's pretty amazing how speedy the unit is. I play lots of games with it too so it's not just for work. Gaming depends on your definition at the moment. Android games, I haven't found anything I play to not work yet. Check out the Google Playstore there is a ton there. Also with project Crostini (included with Chrome OS) a Linux environment, games that run on Linux are now possible. At the time of this review some are better then others so keep in mind it's not perfect by any means but I am optimistic! Applications are plenty via web apps, Android, Linux and again even Windows app (using WINE in Linux). Is a Chromebook for everyone? I think that really depends on the user. For instance if you are the type of person that thinks you need cable TV because that is where all the great stuff to watch is, a Chromebook is 'probably' not for you. However if you are the "cord cutter" type, willing to try new ways to feed your media desire, a Chromebook is probably right up your alley.

    The Chromebook had a broken speaker

    I ordered the Chromebook online and it came in as promised. I picked it up and took it home, spent time personalizing it for my use, and discovered the speaker had a flaw. I took it in to Best Buy and they stated it could not be fixed and they would replace it. However it was not available.

    It took this laptop about 40 minutes after startup to freeze on me mid zoom meeting. The good news was it was the final incentive for me to cough up the money for a solid computer. Loving my Lenovo Thinkpad :)

    The keyboard began having problems within 28 days of purchase which the store’s techs could not fix. It resulted to them sending it back to the manufacturer and we are now waiting on a “new” one. For an item so costly, I would’ve expected no issues for quite some time. First and last time purchasing this brand.

    This Chromebook is a little heavier than my other chromebook, but for the performance and features it's worth it. I love that the keyboard lights up, and that the keys have a very sturdy feel. Not only is there light provided under each key, but there is also light behind the symbols. Most helpful, as usually there is never enough light to see everything that I'm typing otherwise. The screen really does look nice, the color, resolution, and contrast make this screen really pop out. It looks great. Plus with being an IPS screen the viewing angles are very good, the screen graphics are recognizable at virtually any angle. Benchmark tests were very impressive as well, it got ratings of 157 on speedometer, and 35054 on Octane. These numbers were ,more than 3 times as good as my last Chromebook( which I just got earlier this year). All in all, I am very satisfied and impressed with the quality, and performance of this Chromebook. The battery is only at 80% after a couple days of light to medium use. The sound is more than adequate for my needs, it's actually pretty load for a chromebook or pc. I have absolutely no complaints about this device, it has surpassed my expectations.

    I paid for the Geek Squad certified version with professional cleaning and it arrived dirty. No reflection on the manufacturer, just that the increased Bestbuy price tag is not worth it.

    This chromebook was not what i expected. It didnt give capabilites that I looking for as a laptop. Not a true laptop with functions you would be used if you're using a Mac, HP, or Dell. I had ro return. I personally do not recommend

    camera doesn't work. unfortunately it took me longer than 14 days to figure that out. geek squad online couldn't help and it's too late to return it. sucks! don't buy from bestbuy

    Definitely would not recommend. Three days after purchase the device totally locked and froze. I thought that working with Google products would make it easy to navigate however I was very disappointed. Returned and purchased an HP laptop

    Very dissatisfied. Bought this november 2020. June 2022 , it just didnt turn on again. Never will buy HP product again even on sale. Waste of money. Will try other brands.

    Webcam doesn't work, and Best Buy would not help once past the return period. My daughter didn't realize this until she started school--past the return period. Screen cracked quickly, and it was taken care of. Very disappointed.

    The laptop didn't come with a operating system, now I have to waste my time to go inside best buy so they can fix it. What laptop doesn't come with the main operating system..... I will never purchase a laptop from best buy...

    The order and delivery was very prompt.. The computer did not work at all. Every thirty seconds it would shut down and restart. Due to the virus, the only tech solution that was offered was to return for an exchange or refund.

    Beautiful Chromebook but it was defective. The touchscreen did not work at all. I searched for assistance with this issue and found that it's a common problem. Wish it would have worked out, but I had to return it.

    I got this for my daughter for her online schooling and she was very happy with it and then after a month, the fan quit working and it got really hot and shut down. Now we are trying to contact the customer support...

    Terrible experience. Brought the product a year ago, numerous problems show up relating to touch screen and battery problem. Basically it is all the hardware problem itself. Wouldn't recommend buying.

    Loved this at first. Worked great for working from home through a VDI interface, and made a great extra device for streaming. However in under 3 months of use, it would not turn on, and now I have to ship it to HP for repairs.

    I purchased this computer for my daughter since her school required a chromebook. The camera stopped working within 1 week. I learned this is a very common problem with chromebooks. No thanks, returned it.

    Bought my laptop 3 months ago. Now the screen is blurred. Best buy are not helping, number given to get to hp doesn't exist. I have my home work to submit in few days. I'm frustrated.
