I like to use my own security system and I like up and down arrows on the side to move the screen up and down. I returned it the same day I bought it but never got it taken off my credit, watch out for BestBuy.

I purchased the item on aug 12th and the webcam stopped working on September 3. The webcam shows orange light. The problem is I cannot even return the laptop. Would not recommend this to anyone

I've been using chromebooks for 3 years and it's everything I need. Can't think of anything that I can't do with the chrome is from we'd to documents etc...No more super expensive Macs or windows computers. Now this HP is packed with speed and very versatile. Clean look too. Battery life is phenomenal. 9 solids hours I got on very solid on and off day of use. Screen is vibrant compare to others except for one of the dells Chromebook that I saw in store. 128Gb installed and sd card slot where I through in my 200 the sandisk, not that I need it but I already had one sitting. Only cons for me is it only has a single USB slot but that can easily be reminded with the use of an adapter if needed. This run boots fast and shot down fast like most Chromebooks but the added bonus is how smooth iit runs thanks to the 8 Gb . Recommened.

This laptop seemed great for the first 5 days I had it. And then out of nowhere the backlit keyboard stopped working. I had to take it back and I went back to a windows computer. Wasn't worth the hassle for me

It was not what I was looking for. I use the computer to stream movies quite often. The color is very poor and the size was not what I was looking for. I would like to exchange it.

Hated that it does not show when caps is on. So when you put a password it can be different as most passwords are encrypted. Return for one that does show caps light on.

This laptop is not user friendly. I have owned it for six months and trade in value is only $65! Unbelievable, you can do better than this. I have to buy another laptop.

You must read details of the open box item you are buying. To make sure ALL parts are included. My Chromebook said power cord was included but it was not. Please read Very carefully the details of the item.

1 year 4 months old stopped charging. Replaced battery. Worked great for almost a week stopped charging . Bought new charger. Still won't charge. Don't buy..

Entire lower row of keys gets stuck every time you close the laptop and reopen. Trackpad leaves much to be desired. Great machine if you can ignore the quality issues.

Best Buy I have absolutely no idea what is going on. Did I ever actually purchase this? Maybe I did.

I work off a windows laptop for 8 hours a day so jumping to the Chromebook was a bit challenging at first. The quality of this laptop is outstanding though, built VERY solid and much nicer than I expected when ordered. It has a great look to it and the materials make it look very elegant and on par with some of the mac books out there. The hardest thing for me to get accustomed to has been the keyboard. There is no caps lock and out of habit everytime I go to press it the search box pops up. I am sure there is a way to reassign that functionality but I haven't messed it yet. Speed is incredible and the Wireless AC allows for apps and games from the play store to download lightening quick. They look incredible as well and I had no issues synching my PS4 bluetooth controller up to the laptop. Another nice feature is the ability to open it up and convert it to a tablet mode or stand it up and view it in an easel configuration. Overall I am very happy with the quality and look of this laptop and very glad I selected this for what I needed it for.

Had great expectations and excited to receive. Setup was simple and went as expected. But then repeatedly restarting until I packed it back up to return. Return went well.

I bought an open box unit, Now I know why it was returned! The screen kept on freezing up, and there is no way to power it down to reset!

Cheaply made hinge, useless touchscreen, dim display, and bad battery life. The touchscreen stopped working after a year and Best Buy will do nothing about it.

Got this HP chromebook for online classes for my son and it has too many audio issues making it unusable. Will never buy another HP chromebook product.

Right out of the box I'm in love. I bought this to upgrade from my Toshiba 2 (2014) for the HD screen, ability to run Android apps as well as the i3 with 8GB ram which is insane for a Chromebook. This thing smokes, very quick, and the resolution and crisp display have a high end appearance. Build quality also seems sturdy, this isn't some plastic-y feeling laptop. Works good like a Chromebook should, I'm sold.

Died within 2 years. Highly disappointed, do not recommend.

came defected out the box so never got to see it in action. had no choice but to return it. once i logged in with my gmail it would not stop restarting

My daughter needs camera for school work. It stopped working suddenly. Really disappointed with hp chrome book. Guys stay away from this please
