Laptop worked for two times but then wouldn’t charge. Looks like the motherboard broke. My warranty is covering a fix hopefully though. Before it broke I liked how it was lightweight and compatible with google.

Performs flawlessly for all tasks. Sleek looking, specially with the new HP design/logo. Compact. And what’s even better, the price! i3 + 8gb ram and 256ssd can’t beat that! Price was the same as much inferior laptops while delivering outstanding speed, function.

Over the years I've had multiple HP Chromebooks and they do a great job, The screen is one of the best I've seen on a Chromebook. I've not used it outside, but for indoor lighting it can get super bright. It's not the absolute lightest laptop, but it's sturdy and plenty portable. Beyond that, it has great battery life. I often leave it in a bag as a travel computer, only having to charge it every few days. Performance is snappy and I've not had any problems with lots of tabs open. As long as you know the advantages and limitations of a Chromebook, this is a great one to get. Chromebooks often go on significant sales. If you find this on sale, I can definitely recommend it.

this Chromebook plus laptop run so smooth, it's touch-screen and if you want to fold it to make it look like a tablet/Ipad you can. It also has a good battery capacity, if you a college student, or you need it a laptop for work for work and you don't have much money i think this laptop might be a good use for you .

Beautiful large 14-inch touchscreen. The keyboard and trackpad work great, both are comfortable to use. The function keys took a couple of days to get used to but am happy with the entire layout. Overall this Chromebook Plus is great! I was looking to find a travel laptop, I almost bought a new 13" iPad but that is a lot of money for me. When I saw this Chromebook Plus had such a nice discount as an open-box, I immediately did my research (YouTube reviews) and visited my local Best Buy. It only took me a couple of minutes of fiddling with the display model to make a decision. Super happy with my purchase, would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a laptop that you will use for a lot of word processing. I am using this for school reports, work reports, and personal use. Everything I need is done on this Chromebook Plus, I rarely use my $2500 gaming PC laptop and I sold my iPad. ^_^ Some of my favorite features are the USB-C options on the left and right side of the laptop, the micro-SD card slot keeps the card inside securely, I am not afraid it will fall of as it is almost a smooth fit. A neat feature I was not aware of is being able to connect your Android phone apps to the laptop. For example, if I have my Samsung Fold nearby, after setting it up with the laptop, I can use the finger print reader on the phone to unlock the laptop, I can also get/view/reply my text messages and WhatsApp messages along with all the other Google apps like calendar, contacts, drive, etc. Battery life has been surprisingly good! I say surprising because I forget to charge it and when I look, I am still at 70% after a few hours of typing, watching videos, etc. I would say the battery lasts about 7-8 hours with "heavy usage" for me, that includes having two or three applications open all the time while I have a picture-in-picture YouTube video running in a corner. No hiccups whatsoever with anything I have thrown at it. I even installed Diablo Immortal and Genshin Impact to see how it handled gaming (though I do not game much on this laptop) and they both worked just fine. The fan kicked in, first time I heard it since I got it, but nothing too loud in my opinion. Overall I am super happy with this laptop and would recommend to anyone.

This checks every box you need for a stellar Chromebook. 8GB Ram, 16:10 aspect ratio is much better than 16:9 like most Chromebooks, i3 is plenty fast enough for chrome, and it's nice to have touch screen functionality. I love the compact size. I also use this with a docking station from time to time and dual external monitors work great and all peripherals are recognized. The 14 inch size is great for backpacks and the build feels sturdy. My only caveats to the above are 1)The $699 price tag. I'm not against paying for a quality Chromebook but at $699 it would need to at least include thunderbolt ports and a higher res screen. This should pop up on sale for $399 or less from time to time and at that price you can't do much better. 2)You have to understand what Chrome is and be sure it will work for you. There are a handful of reviewers commenting that the chrome OS really doesn't work for them but they and you should know that going in.

For some reason I feel I need to have a Chromebook just to carry around on the go. I would rather something happen to this than my MacBook or gaming laptop. I can say that this one I feel can make it worth your money. I'm a adult student and it gets me though a full 7-8 hour day. The i3 is a very strong processor and it blows my mind how many tabs I can have open and it still runs smooth. Warning, I might be a slight tab junkie.. The screen is very nice and bright to me for only being 250 nits. Battery I can get a full class day from 8am to 3pm and that's using canvas, youtube, and microsoft office all day. Plus I have a MacBook Air 15" so I know good battery life. The volume is by far better than your average $699 laptop, If some was to happen to it would I go out and replace it with the same one? Humm, Yes I surely would unless the newest model comes happens to come out when I needed to replace it. This will stay as a daily out and about driver until the day it gives out on me. Grade A+, highly recommendable.

I’m happy with my HP 2-in-1 Chromebook Plus Laptop. I did a ton of research before deciding on this specific model. I already own an HP that works seamlessly, so I knew I wanted my next one to be an HP as well. I like the touchscreen option. It comes in handy. I also like the 256GB SSD. Not many models offer this, so I was happy it came with this model. The screen is a great size and the graphics are great. Overall it’s a great option & I’m happy this is the model I chose.

I recently purchased a laptop for my daughter from Best Buy, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From start to finish, the process was smooth and hassle-free. The staff was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the various options to find the perfect fit for her needs. The laptop itself has exceeded our expectations. My daughter uses it for schoolwork, projects, and even some leisure activities, and she absolutely loves it! The performance is fantastic, allowing her to multitask effortlessly between applications. The battery life is impressive as well, which is a huge plus for her busy schedule. Best of all, she finds it user-friendly and visually appealing, which has made her excited to use it for her studies. It's been a joy to see her enthusiasm and how it has enhanced her learning experience. Overall, I highly recommend shopping at Best Buy for technology needs. Their wide selection, knowledgeable staff, and great customer service made this a wonderful purchase. Thank you, Best Buy, for helping us find the perfect laptop for my daughter!

I wouldn't pay list price but found it on sale for $320 off. I've used the HP Chromebook for several years and am pleased with their performance and reliability. I chose this one because of the i3 chip, memory size and SSD size along with the touch screen. I recommend this product if you can buy it for about 1/2 list price

Best laptop for kids. My daughter liked it...this laptop offers excellent value for everyday tasks like browsing, streaming, and schoolwork. It runs smoothly, has a long-lasting battery, and includes thoughtful features like a touchscreen and privacy camera. While it lacks a backlit keyboard and has average speakers, it's a strong choice for students or casual users seeking reliability and affordability.

This chrome book is very responsive. Love the large screen and the notebook capability. The lighted keyboard, Bang and Olufsen speakers, quick battery recharge are great. Like the switch to turn off the camera. I can't think of anything this chromebook is lacking.

The laptop is fast, responsive, lighter than others, and overall, a good experience. I like how the keyboard feels and has a nice backlight to it as well. The only negative I have that is a pretty big deal is the built-in mouse gets stuck... A lot - during each use, I will have to unstick it at some point, and it is really annoying. I love that it does go into tablet mode, but it is a tad heavy to try and use in that mode for prolonged periods of time. If you can get past the keyboard getting stuck its a really good device, just held back by that one flaw.

While considered as entry level Chromebook this is a great computer. The computer is fast enough for video games. Works with multiple accounts (personal and business). The backlit keyboard is a big plus. The device is a bit heavy than expected. Battery life is very good. Usually charge a couple of times each week with about 2 hours of daily use.

I have been using this for about 2 weeks now and I have to say, I am impressed. Being able to use Android apps is the best thing to happen to Chromebooks. They are much more usable now. I also have a Pixel 8 Pro and they have integrated it well. I can read, write and send messages from the Chromebook. I can see my notifications on the laptop. I can start something on the laptop and finish it on my phone and vice versa. It's been a pleasure to use. Fast with a great screen. It is better than I thought it would be.

Lightweight and fast. I also have a Google Pixel and I love that the computer can act as an extension to my phone. I use it for work and recreation. I originally intended to use it for video and audio editing, it doesn't come with those pre installed programs but there are web apps and play store apps you can use to get the job done. The fact that it's a 2-in-1 laptop/tablet is awesome. When it's in tablet mode it becomes the biggest tablet I've ever had. So fun to walk around as if it were a clipboard. Great value for the price.
