The hp ink is one of the best today. I have been a loyal hp person and I have used hp products all my life.

I always buy HP ink for my printer rather than an off brand or trying to refill cartridges myself.

You buy HP printers because of there reliability and quality. Same with there ink. I wouldn't buy anything less.

I bought this XL cartridge to replace an empty one and because Best Buy will match another competitors price. I have had my hp printer for 4-5 years and I like it, all expect the fact that it takes 4 ink cartridges. The XL cartridge theoretically allows you to print twice as much as a regular cartridge, I personally have not found that to be true. They seem to go as fast as the regular ones. Personally it is cheaper to use the refilled cartridges than it is to buy new ones.

Fresh ink vs purchasing at some other stores. You must always shake them before installation also.
