The HP 564xl black ink cartridge is a long lasting and of a high quality ink for my printer. I would suggest this ink cartridge to all owners of a printer that uses this part number 564.

I buy the large black cartridge because I print a lot on black or grayscale to save my color print for pictures. The cartridge is easy to install and the ink doesn't get all over your hands. The large cartridge goes a long way, I've only replaced it once it 8 months.

I've owned an HP printer for years and found it to be extremely reliable. The 564 cartridge is easily available in most stores and I've found the xl cartridge to be worthwhile, as it gives you more ink for the money and less frequent changes.

564 black ink is all that can be used in a printer that uses 564 ink. The 564XL last longer than just the standard. This original ink cartridge is so much better than ever trying to refill a cartridge.

Print quality is really good and installation is easy.

Ink cartridges are good. Do wish they would also contain the black cartridge with multipack. Understand that there's a need for two different black cartridges but put them all together at stores. I'm currently going to two different aisles to get ink for one printer! Also still think too expensive!

good quality ink easy to install in printer. Have been using for a few years. Only negative thing is that it is very expensive. Starting to think that an alternative not made hy HP is the answer. Many people I know have opted for this alternative which is a lot cheaper with same quality.

I bought this as a spare and haven't opened it yet. I usually keep a set of cartridges as a backup for those in my printer. When one runs out, I stick the new one in and get the old one refilled, usually at Costco. I don't buy the packages with two cartridges as they are date stamped and I did have one dry out on me.

I started purchasing ink from Best Buy because it offers elite members 15% off and free shipping. I copy almost everything in Black Ink. The XL cartridge does last longer than the regular black cartridge, but I have never done a page count to compare.

I have a Photosmart printer at my (somewhat remote) summer cottage which meets printing demands of weekend guests. Using the XL cartridge for the black ink is very economical and provides printing capabilities for most of the summer.

The HP-564 XL cartridge is what I always use in my HP Photosmart 7525 printer. This keeps the print quality high and the XL means longer times between replacement. Best Buy has a great selection and price for cartridges.

Print quality is good. But really would have wished it was a bit less expensive. Or in the alternative, last a bit longer. But there is an online installation reward program too that may help reduce cost. But it is tied to subsequent and multiple purchases. But on the whole, compared to other types of ink this ink is not bad.

Way too expensive for ink that doesn’t last very long. I have to buy it because it is the only ink for my printer.

This product does exactly what's expected of it. I don't stay up at night pining for the next release of ink cartridges, but it's there if I need it. To reiterate, it's ink. If you're reading a review about ink cartridges, you're thinking to hard about it.

It's ink. It does its job, and I like that it's an extra black ink because that's the printing I do most. But the price is way too high, like the price for so many other things. And a note about the question below about recommending this product. I would probably recommend Best Buy and say I get my ink cartridges there - but I couldn't recommend this specific ink because I probably wouldn't remember the number for it.

I used a Best Buy coupon to save $$ on the purchase of this ink cartridge. I was going to need ink shortly, and the coupon came along at just the right time. It was easy to find in the store, and no waiting at check out. Altogether, an excellent transaction.

It was what I needed, and it works well. The store clerk was very helpful in getting this ordered.

I DO NOT DO A LOT OF PRINTING, SO PERHAPS MY OPINION THAT THE INK SEEMS EXPENSIVE IS INCORRECT ACCORDING TO THE HIGH USAGE USERS, ITS JUST MY OPINION. HOWEVER I HAVE NOT HAD THIS PRINTER LONG ENOUGH TO KNOW IF IT LAST A LONG TIME OR NOT. THE QUALITY OF THE PRINT IS VERY GOOD IN MY OPINION AND THAT DOES MATTER TO ME.

I shopped around for HP564XL printer ink. Prices vary a couple of dollars,so I went to Best Buy, found the cartridges and when the associate rang them up they were $4.00 less than the instore price due to price matching. Thank you Best Buy. I'll be back.
