Works very well, and doesn't smudge like some brands do. The quality is very high on what it prints.

After installing a new black ink cartridge into my HP Photosmart 7520 printer, the quality has been great. Very happy as I print a lot for work and school. I did see smearing ink one time though when printing.

When I try an off-brand ink, I always seem to come back to HP inks even though they are pricier. The quality is just better. Just wish ALL of the brands would last longer.

Original HP ink is the way to go. I have tried "reloads" and they tend to cause more problems than they solve. The Best Buy 10% off program doesn't hurt either

I have two printers that accept these cartridges. I use them for photos as well as regular printing. Never encountered a problem and they last as well as could be expected.

I have always had success with HP Ink. I find the quality is top level. Much better than getting refills in the cartridge.

All ink is overpriced, but with the XL packs, you get the most for your money. And HP brand ink gives a much better print quality compared to the generic brands or refills

We have bought this ink for years and it works really well. It lasts a long time and I never have problems with the ink cartridge being accepted in my printer.

Printers are programmed to use their name branded ink. Using any other, you have complaints, you created them. Use the correct ink and printing will be flawless.

As with most ink I'm always surprised at the cost, but it performs well in my HP printer. The XL also seems to be the way to go (unless you want to risk the "works in an HP" inks you can find online for a lot less).

I have tried off named brands but genuine HP ink works the best with an HP printer. The xl type last a very long time and the ink is not smeary or too light.

Don't waste your money on the cheap cartridges, buy xl and save $$. Yes the cartridge is more expensive but you get more ink. Who doesn't want more for less?

Tried after market inks in previous printers with no success. So, regardless of cost, I stick with HP inks. Especially important when printing photos. Make sure you add an extra black to every buy of color cartridges.

I have been using an HP Printer for several years now and only use HP ink in them. The ink provides bold lettering, great shading, and produces value that's noticeable.

I have used this refill many times and it does last a long time and is a good solid black. The high yield cartridges are always a good idea and save you money and the effort of buying refills too often.

This ink cartridge is fantastic. I wouldn't use anything other than HP Ink Cartridges for my HP Photosmart 7520 All-In-One Printer. Would highly recommend this product.

HP does a great job of making cost effective printers, but like Gillette, they squeeze hard to earn money out of you as you use the printer and must use very expensive ink cartridges. At least they are easy to replace.

HP ink is great for printing homework. It prints clearly and you don't have to worry about the ink smudging or streaking. HP is the only brand I use for my printing needs.
