Ink cartridges don't have that many attributes -- other than the price, I suppose. Are they easy to install? This one is. Does it seem to work until the ink is gone. Yes. Does the XL size save you from having to replace the thing more often? Yep. What's not to like? Oh ... and while I like using Best Buy, HP ink is pretty universally available.

Buying the XL Back ink cartridge was a great idea and it is worth it, it last longer and you save money in the long run. Note: just as reminder, it is also depends of how you are using your printer, how often, what purpose, office paper only, photos, etc. regardless of the brand if you are printing photos often for sure your ink won't last as expected.

I get alot of printing from my hp black cartridge. I also bought a hp printer a while ago, and have used it often. I've never had any problems with it. The cost of the hp cartridge is very reasonable, and that is why I shop at best buy for my ink. I would totally recommend best buy.

We tend to go through a fair amount of ink at my house. My wife has been printing maps for our D&D game lately, and that goes through it quick. We blew through a set of the non XL versions of this ink cartridge in about a week's time. This seems to be holding up a lot better. And the cost is not a lot more than the regular sized ones.

The ink worked good but the HP printer is now having an issue that it is unable to connect to the server? I am confused as it is connected to my phone and the home Internet service yet it is saying it cannot connect? Printing is blank pages. I think it nay be due to the color ink needed filled too, I only bought black.

This is probably one of the easier to find cartridges made by HP. I recommend you purchase a printer that carries this model cartridge. The XL is also an excellent choice. Quality is good and it will outlast the regular size by double. it's just much more convenient. Easy to install. Usually always in stock. HP inks have always been good to me.

I've used this product, as well as colored inks/cartridges (in the past), and have always had good luck with all. It's easy to load into the printer and does a decent job with the printed task. I've had no leaks/messes with this product. The XL version is more expensive than the standard cartridge but it makes up for it in value (e.g. prints more pages, replace it less often).
