Sometimes it works for long and many a times it doesnt, this particular one worked for 2 months with printing avg. 10 pages/week.

The high-yield cartridges are supposed to give you more pages. I'm sorry that wasn't the case. Here are a few ideas to remedy the situation. Don't store the cartridges in the packaging for months at a time. Validate that the cartridges are filled upon receipt. I also suggest cleaning the cartridges with a damp cloth at least once a week. Focus on the printhead to get the best results.

After over a week of trying to get the ink cartridge to operate by trying all the instructions from HP Inc. customer service suggestions, Best Buy was gracious enough to refund my money. Best Buy made the day! I would recommend to others that Best Buy cares about their customers when HP Support leaves much to be desired!

I am sorry that the cartridge you purchased from Best Buy didn’t work. I can imagine how disappointing that must have been.
The HP 61 cartridges are the correct ones for your printer, so you must have gotten a defective one.
Ultimately the seller is responsible for the quality of what you bought from them, so it is appropriate to contact the seller about any cartridge that is not working.
