Only writing on the installation process, I have yet to print something out or see if it truly prints 2.5 x MORE. The installation process was quite easy, but something to note is that you need to install the equivalent counterpart (color ink) otherwise it won't let you print the color-balance sheet.

These cartridges are not cheap, but they do produce crisp printing on my HP printer!!

The 61XL is a great long lasting cartridge. Prints at great quality also.

I have not used the entire cartridge yet so I cannot say whether or not it actually prints over 400 or so pages like it advertises. But, so far it seems to work great and looks nice.

Easy to replace, prints fine, and hopefully will print the stated number of copies.

Same comments as for hp 61 Tri Color XL cartridge I.e., good quality & availability.

The XL was a better value than two regular cartridges and give you more ink.

You get a lot done with this high-yield ink and for the price it's well worth it.

The XL cartridge lasts longer than the standard and therefore is more cost effective. By purchasing these at the same time, they will outlast a rheem of paper! TIP: if your printer is color, don't try to save the color by only using black. REASON: The black ink will actually run out faster than normal. Print in color always, and both cartridges will last longer together. Using HP Deskjet 2540 series wireless.
