    I've only used my print twice since purchasing this ink and it's already empty. I was planning on bringing the cartridge back for a replacement or refund.

    Bad Cartridge - Confusing Customer Service

    This cartridge was defective, when I took off the orange cover black ink poured out all over my hand. I am not sure I am getting a refund, store rep, Lauren, gave me another cartridge and said it was an exchange. Website says it is a refund.

      Hi,

      While it is good you like the ink, I'm sorry to hear that you are running out of ink quickly. That sounds frustrating.

      Unless the cartridge was damaged or defective, the ink usage will determine how long it will last. High-density prints (such as photos and graphs) will use up more ink, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry.

      Here are some things that might help lower your ink usage:
      - You can use the printer's draft mode and black-only settings, whenever possible, to save ink.
      - Shutting the printer down between uses can also help; however, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That lets it ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying.
      - Instant Ink might be worth trying. The subscription plans are based on how many pages you print. You can check out the details at: HPinstantink.com

      When it seems that the low page yield was caused by a defective cartridge, it is always an option to contact the seller about a replacement or refund.

    It runs out very quickly. Printed out maybe 150-200 pages and went dry.

      I am sorry that you are not getting the page yield you would like. Unless there were several high-density printouts, it does seem like you should have been able to print more.

    HP commands a ridiculous premium for their printer ink. They update the printer firmware to make 2nd-market inks not work unless the 2nd-market folks have caught up. I feel ripped off by HP.

    We never did get help from Geek Squad after 28 hours over 2 days on hold! We brought the printer in, 2 years old and we are not here for 6 months each year. Told we had to buy a new printer! Won't be from Best Buy and we won't be with Geek Squad!!!

    Poor - Easy (Ink) Replenish

    I have no idea why it was so difficult to deliver the ink cartridge the first time. Setting up easy replenish was (NOT EASY) and wasted valuable time. Easy Replenish is still not set up correctly, fix the easy in replenish so getting ink when the printer runs out gets done.

    Replaced cartridges for all colors. Purchased this larger size due to the fact that it was larger. All colors print except black. I have performed the alignment and cleaning procedure so many times, my color cartridges are now showing a drop in levels.

      I am very sorry that you are facing these frustrations, but it appears that you just got a defective black cartridge. You can return it to the seller.

      According to the Best Buy site's Return & Exchange Policy information:
      "If you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please return it during your return and exchange time period to a Best Buy store and we'll arrange for a replacement. If you would rather return the item by mail during your return and exchange time period, please call us for special instructions at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289). We will cover all reasonable and customary ground shipping fees."

    Recommend subscribing to HP InstantInk. HP monitors your ink levels via WiFi connection and automatically sends you ink before you run out. The cost for this service is less than half that of purchasing ink cartridges in the store.

    I never had a problem with ink before. Don't know what's going on. Today, I took out the cartridge and put them back in and printed something out and again, it's still pink. The black ink is working as the black print is black.
