This printer cartridge has twice as much as the smaller size and lasts much longer.

I wish ink lasted longer. I always run out of black ink first! But getting the XL one does help!!!

Not much crazy to say it is the XL version so enough ink that you shouldnt buy a spare and lose it. leaving you without ink probably when you need it most.

I had to purchase a new printer, the old printer was fine, but would not print after being idle for about 8 months. New printer came with ink, I am usually printing a lot, so I purchased an XL black. Well, I did not open the new box of ink. I live in Texas for the winter, about 8 months. I hope the ink will be ok when I return to my northern home. In the past, I have had NO problems with the ink, but have not needed to let a box of ink sit for a long period of time. Your guess is as good as mine if I will be able to use the ink next May.

I replaced the ink that came with the printer because it didn't last the long. This ink cartridge last a long time.

Never had a problem with HP ink cartridges. This time was no exception. Works as advertised.

Love the larger size of black since that color is used the most by my HP printer.

I buy the XL cartridges when I need to buy ink. They DO last longer than the standard ones.

I have found that the genuine manufacturer's cartridges perform better than the cheaper knock offs. I guess the reliable, quality printing with this cartridge justifies the higher cost.

Good Product and reasonably priced. The XL size much more reasonably priced than the regular size
