    It's always better to buy big regardless of price because it does pay for itself. More ink, more printing and the price will be rewarded to you, especially if you do a lot of printing!! 1 regular cartridge may last you 2 or 3 months (depending on your printing habits) with an XL it typically doubles it and adds a month to 2 months extra use on top of a regular cartridge (Printing habits will vary - keep in mind) !!

    I always use HP cartridges and Best Buy always has the best price. At the time of this purchase I had the pleasure of being assisted by the HP rep who provided insight as to the process of how HP uses color ink even though I print 100% black & white. I will likely purchase a laser printer soon to save on color ink costs and aggravation. When one color runs out, the others are never far behind.
