    Yep, that is what it is, black ink, HP brand and fits in my HP printer. It prints in black. It is new and not refilled so No Problems - other than the price. @ almost $40 a few ounces. That equates to about a zillion dollars per gallon. I've tried the refilled ones but that leads to trouble so I stick with the real deal.
