    I have owned HP printers for a long time and am continually disappointed by the cost of ownership. This ink is over priced compared to the products offered by competitors. While the print quality is sufficient- I hate being gauged for ink cartridges. This will certainly be the last HP printer I purchase.

    I owned an HP 8600 OfficeJet and used non-HP ink regularly. All of a sudden the HP would not accept the generic ink. Soooo I bought the HP ink in the unit still did not work. Turns out the printer head was bad and a new printer head cost more than a new printer. God you have to love HP.

    This ink is WAY too expensive for what you get. HP's way of making money I guess. I noticed no difference when I bought an off brand black ink cartridge, I noticed no difference in how long it lasted or the quality of ink. I won't be buying this ink again.
