I Normally like most HP products but choke a bit on the price of replacement cartridges for their printers. Would have given 4 stars except life seems short even with the XL models.

The HP 8610 printer uses 3 separate ink color cartridges so you only have to replace the color that is out an not waste the entire ink cartridge.

DO NOT purchase these ink cartridges. My printer will not recognize this cartridge as genuine HP ink. It tells me that there is an issue with the printer, but when I install the older ink cartridge that I am replacing the printer works just fine. Also, you can not get HP customer support on the phone. They don't offer any support unless you pay for their plan, which is ridiculous for any CPG company. This is the issue that you have when a company becomes an effective monopoly. Again, DO NOT buy these cartridges.

My previous 950xl cartridge did not outlast my regular 951 cartridges. I hope this time it will be better. It's almost better to buy a new printer every time the cartridge runs out!

Works as anticipated issue is with the color cartridges should not have to replace so often when you print in black 95% of the time.

This has not happened before...when I put the cartridge in my printer it show it as NOT being an HP cartridge.

I understand price for quality. I'd be happy if HP priced their excellent cartridges a little closer to the 3rd party brands... but, I keep buying them so I guess their business model works...

Bought this for replacing an old cartridge, no problems with the quality but could find a more cheaper version at a lower price.

Overpriced, but necessary. A bit disappointed that for printer to work one has to buy the colored cartridges as well.

I've always been pleased with my Best Buy purchases. My printer was not printing well. Therefore, I bought new HP printer cartridges. I placed the new cartridges in the printer and it still did not work. Turns out, the printhead needs to be replaced. Best Buy would not refund me the money for the cartridges i can't use. Tried to find a printer that uses those cartridges but they don't have one. The sales person looked online and found a printer in Walmart. Wow, i was sent to Walmart. Apparently, if the ink cartridge box is opened they cannot refund your money or give you store credit. Receipt does not state that nor did the cashier mention anything of that sort. Now i am out $125.00. Very disappointed.

Can’t use refurbished or refills and even then half the time the stupid printer says it’s low or out when it’s almost completely full

Great color but costly. Doesn't last as long as we really want to, of course. Wish the cost was less, too since it always seems like we are out.

The official HP cartridges are dependable, but costly. Unfortunately, other options never seem to deliver, so it's the only option.

Good product...works as expected.....biggest problem with ink is always the price

I feel the ink doesn't last as long as it should but needed it . I guess I would recommend cause I don't know if there is better ink to use

Very good printing however over priced can find on line refills a lot more reasonable.

The price is outrageous . Never fely so ripped off in my life but what choice do you have besides buy another printer

HP ink is costly at best, but the best place to buy it is Best Buy. May as well get points for spending the money!
