    I have tried to use other products in my printer but HP, although expensive, is the best. I highly recommend this product for use in a machine that utilizes it. It lasts quite a while and NEVER clogs up the works.

    This is the prescribed ink cartridge for my printer and it works very well. Happy to get the XL so at least in theory I am getting almost twice the amount of ink for only one third extra in price.

    My gripe with the HP printers is that if one cartridge runs dry, the printer won't print until the cartridge is replaced. So buy the 2 pack. And print a page every couple of weeks to prevent a color cartridge from drying out before it's empty.

    Needed to replace an empty black ink cartridge for my HP 8600 printer. Best Buy had one on sale at just the right time for me. Replacement keeps my printer working fine. The extra capacity (XL) cartridges last longer for a modest price increase.

    HP high yield inks are incredible! I use my HP OfficeJet printer every day and the lifespan of HP's high yield inks is absolutely incredible and when caught on sale make them a great buy for the money.

    I always this for my HP officejet Pro 8600. There is enough ink to last months. I replace roughly every 4 months. There are 2 University students and a high school junior in my house.
