One would think that a HP printer would be at the top of its class, however, I am quite disappointed with HP and their current printers. First off, there are NO instructions. they expect you to figure it out, or google the instructions online. 2nd - it has to be one of the slowest printers i have ever seen! to print a regular black and white document (low resolution), it took nearly 29 seconds. I've seen color printers at the same price point print faster! 3rd - it is not compatible to chromebooks. I was able to hook it up to my phones, thinkpads, desktops, however it would not connect to an Acer Chromebook 314 series laptop. Even uninstalling and reinstalling, completely resetting the laptop, still didn't work (device not found). I should have heeded the warnings that are online. As an IT specialist, I laughed at those who couldn't get it work, now I am laughing at myself for not taking those review seriously. Should have realized that all the other printers were sold out, while this was the only one left on the shelves.

Well once I figured out how to set up and it took a while it works great. Printer works great for what I need it for and a few extra things. Had some trouble in begining and really couldn't get a hold of any help that was the worst, frustrating part.

Good printer if you know what you are getting into. HP ink cartridges are expensive and this consumes a lot more ink than a laser printer. Qualifies for the ink subscription program starting 99 cents a month.

Works, for the most part. Prints fine, scans fine, but have to recycle the power every time I want to wirelessly print to is, as it shows it's connected to wifi but no HP Print apps on my devices can send documents to it to print.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a printer. I bought this for my Mother in Law, and it took me an hour of looping back and forth in their app that you have to download to get it to connect to the home wireless network, to no avail. Just lopped and looped, asking me the same question over and over. I returned it and bought a Brother, and it literally connected in less than five minutes, and that only took that long because you have to use the push buttons to type in the password to your network. This printer was the worst.

Most printers aren't compatible with different kinds of systems used on PC. Lap Tops and cells are perfect for this brand. But, I returned it for non-compatibility with PC. That doesn't mean it won't work for you...

Needed a printer for Cricut print then cut! This works great and I can connect via Bluetooth. You have to connect to WiFi through a computer the first time, but then after that you can do everything through just your cell phone.

This is an average printed at best. The ink doesn't last long whatsoever. I purchased it for Black Friday so I guess I knew what I was getting myself into. Do yourself a favor and get a real printer!

Believe the bad reviews. I’ve had this printer for almost a month and for the longest I assumed it was user error but after seeing that others are having the same issue. I’m looking to send this back. It never a stays connected... constantly offline even when it says it’s connected. Worst printer ever.

Everything about this printer was fast. The decision to purchase was fast, the setup was fast, and the process to enroll in instant ink was fast. A small printer but with a wide array of capabilities. A must have for any household.

    Impossible to set up

I ordered this printer yesterday and received it today. Delivery was exceptional. As many other reviews have stated, it is next to impossible to set up this computer. I have been working on setting it up for three hours now and it still will not link to my computer. Endless create password screens, endless new passwords and accounts, circles, circles, circles, but no set up. I did get it set up so I can print from my phone, but not the computer. I am going to continue to try for another 24 hours, then the printer will be returned. I need a printer that pairs with my computer as well as my phone. I did just purchase a new HP laptop, so it should pair with the new computer, but it's a no go. Spend the money on any other printer. This one needs professional help. Also, when testing the print page from my phone with the included ink cartridges, the color cartridge is almost empty on page one.

I bought this in thanks giving deal, great product at the deal price especially if you use printer ocassionally at home. At regular price I dont think this is worth considering the amount of ink it needs.

Printer is good but paper tray is horrible as it will take multiple sheet at once if you feed more than 3 or 4 papers and ink run out quit. Also the free ink coupon is a joke. app wont detect the printer

The unit works as intended. Simple design gives the full range of features as any multi-function Printer, Scanner, Fax, etc... The on-screen display is basic, and accurately shows the machine’s status.

Eh, not too happy with this. Barely use it, and already it has trouble printing. Not to mention if you print anything other than the lowest quality, you're gonna be running thru ink.
