A: This printer will work with macOS.
Q: Does this work on chromebooks?
A: You can use this printer with a Chromebook.
Q: Does this printer come with ink? If not where can I buy ink for it?
A: It will come with setup cartridge's. If you need more ink, this printer uses the HP 67 ink.
Q: Can you use all black ink only?
A: Yes. You can use the HP Deskjet 2725 All-In-One Printer in the single-cartridge mode. I would recommend using the setup cartridges first. Then, when the tricolor ink cartridge is empty or low, you would take that ink cartridge out. The printer will automatically go into the single-cartridge mode. Then, you can print with just the black ink cartridge if you wanted to. So, you don't have to replace the tricolor ink cartridge.
Q: does this have a faxand scanner
A: The HP Deskjet 2725 printer is a printer, copier, and scanner. It does not have a fax function.
A: You can connect this printer to your computer with the USB A to B cable. If you don't have the USB cable, then you need to purchase one.
A: Most printers need drivers (available online) to work with a Windows PC or Mac. You can print without setup with a smartphone or tablet. This is very easy to set up. Yes you can adjust the print settings. No it does not deplete color ink when using just black. This is an HP 2-cartridge printer so the printheads are built into the cartridges (black and tricolor). Our exclusive feature, Single Cartridge Mode, allows you to print with only one cartridge -- just don't leave the empty one in. So you never have to buy color if you don't want to. No, sorry the DeskJet 3522 is over 5 years old and is not available for purchase.
Q: Does this printer use a 63xl cartridge? Thanks.
A: No. The HP DeskJet 2725 All-in-One Printer uses the HP 67 or 67XL black and tricolor ink cartridges. The HP Officejet 3830 printer uses the 63 or 63XL ink cartirdges.
