WORTHLESS PRINTER

This is a terrible printer. It’s difficult to connect wirelessly and won’t stay connected. So I plugged it directly to my laptop. It worked for a while and then wouldn’t print again. I allegedly needed to complete setup which required signing up for automatic ink delivery. Then it still won’t print. I’m inclined to take it outside and smash it into tiny pieces in my driveway.

If I didn't get this when it was on special for $25, I would have returned this printer. Even on the latest firmware, it constantly loses its wifi connection and you have to manually unplug and replug it to restart the system. It is the ONLY device (out of 30+) that has this issue, so no it'a not my router or network settings.
The print quality is only so-so when it is working.

Hi there.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer has failed to maintain a reliable wireless connection and rendered prints of lesser quality than you’d like. I can wholly understand why the need to frequently reset the printer in addition to dealing with the quality issue would be a frustrating combination. I would love to help you remedy this situation, so I’ll point you toward some resources aimed at making that happen.
First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues, including wireless connectivity and printer-offline difficulties. Visit that page here: - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
You might also gain useful information by following the steps listed in this guide to improving print quality, including faded or streaked prints, color or black ink not printing properly or at all, and blurred or fuzzy text: - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06557991
If any problem persists, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

I'm actually returning it this weekend. Finally used it this week and it SUCK!!! It constantly saying its offline, don't print. I have to constantly unplug it for it to restart, it took hours to get it to connect to my wifi and worst of all I went to scan something and the app says that the printer don't have that option. Its definitely a waste of time and money. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Hi there.
I’m sorry to learn that you’ve had a difficult time with your printer. I can wholly understand why issues related to setup, connectivity, software, speed and scan quality would be a pretty big letdown. We aim for customers to have a better experience than what you’ve described, so I’ll suggest some resources that I hope will help you get the printer working as it should.
First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various tasks and issues, including wireless connectivity. Visit that page here: - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
I also suggest that you follow a guide on our support site that covers improving print speed; choose whichever of the following two links matches your operating system: - Windows: support.hp.com/us-en/document/bud03409 - Mac OS: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01928898
You might also find useful information in a guide to improving scan quality. It covers what to do when the scanned file on a computer or the printed output has vertical lines, incorrect colors, color bands or poor resolution: - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05343887
If any problem persists, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. This should be my worst printer purchase ever. Before this I had Canon, worked fine with no issues. I tried printing from Windows, MacBook, iPad and even iPhone. Out of 20 tries since last 2 days I could only print just 3 copies and 2 out of those were printed in small fonts.
I tried with and without HP app, but all in vain couldn't print my important document. I will be returning this back to Best Buy this week.
I would definitely would not recommend this to anyone.
