This printer is exactly what I needed-small quantity printing, copying, and scanning. Bare-bones instructions come with the printer. I figured out scanning and copying by trial and error. It is difficult to get the pages hand-fed into the printer evenly. Can’t beat the price though!

Printer struggled a bit during the set up. I dug through the "drawer O' cables" and found a USB cable. As soon as the unit was plugged in via USB it began finding drivers and self set up. I recommend using the USB cable (which is likely lying in the drawer many of us have) for set up. I haven't done a lot of printing but it seems to deliver what one would expect for the $100 class of printers. If you do mailings or need two sided print/scan/copy or print envelopes you will need to spend a bit more. This is an occasional use unit and appears to be a very good value for cost.

Recognizing you get what you pay for, this printer is just average. We bought it for my daughter in college. Her biggest complaints are speed and two sided printing. It is by far the slowest printer we have ever had. Size is great for a dorm room, just slow printing.

Worked great but not for heavy printing. Great for home office use.

Hard time setting up, but once done, it does a great job

I bought this printer to be able to keep in my vehicle for when I need to print on the road. It is not as small as the smallest printers, but for the price it is exactly what I need.

My son got this for his dorm room. Fits perfect on his desk doesn't take up too much room.

It's small, which is good for my tiny dorm desk. Although it doesn't print double sided so if thats an issue don't purchase it. Also I have been having a hard time connecting it wirelessly to my phone and laptop and have been using the usb cord to connect it to my computer. This still works and is very easy, but not the convenience of wireless.

Great small printer, has everything i need. It fits perfectly on my desk.

Works amazing. Had one small error with connecting but once connected to my computer, it ran amazing. It took a few minutes to figure out how to clear the “out of paper” message but besides that great for the cost!

speed ok, getting hook up to wifi took time, instruction not well explained. Hp very reliable.

It's perfect for the occasional print job. I don't like that it'll make you print instructions.

Received as gift from spouse. Price was right, and loved the small footprint of it, but was surprised at the clumsy design of it. No flatbed area; documents to copy or scan get inserted into front of printer top. The paper for output gets fed into the back of the printer top. The paper guides/feed area are clumsy and it often takes multiple attempts to get papers positioned right to operate. Control panel buttons and indicators were not intuitive. Burned through ink very quickly.

The printer is very quiet, which helps since it's near the tv. The background of all printed pages are tinted, even though the originals are not. It prints very slowly, but that isn't a problem since I'm mainly printing recipes.
