You don't get Instant ink that way but since I don't print much that is not an issue. On the slow side and if you don't extend the flap on the paper output tray - which does stick out and looks like it could easily break - the paper flies to the floor. So - good for my purposes which is occasional low volume printing

This printer takes up to an hour on one job. I've had to reinstall the printer for each print job I do. I can't believe HP/ Best Buy would even sell something like this. This is embarrassing. Take my advice, pay up for a nice printer, you'll benefit in the long run.

I can certainly understand why this would be an unexpected and unwelcome surprise after having the device only a year and having done some troubleshooting with no success. I didn't realize until I opened the box that it feeds from the rear and that won't work in my setup. The printer looked nice and it was shrink-wrapped in the box which I like. I also noticed that the new printers mostly use the same ink. It's just one number to remember, then chose black or color and/or the extra large capacity. Best Buy refunded my money without any hassle.

The setup window got stuck on "Thank you for your patience" for +/- 25 minutes. I tried to complete the process 3 times. I was able to print and copy but not scan. Printing 14 pages took 17 minutes. The quality of grayscale printing was acceptable but not excellent, which was in line with my needs and expectations for the price. After years of not having printer I will be returning this one after one night. Do better HP. If you can't come through on an all-in-one machine for just over a hundred bucks, that's okay. Do us all a favor and just skip making it. My time has been wasted.

Setup was easy but getting it to recognize the Wi-Fi was a small challenge. My only complaint is that it is noisy. Sounds like it’s trying to print or grab paper every 10-15 seconds. My remedy is to shut it off after each use because the noise is annoying. It is also why I would not recommend it to a friend. Trying to find a number to call HP is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
