Geek Squad employee Theresa carefully examined the printer and could not make it work. (Neither could Hotwire Tech get it to work. He too concluded the printer was a "lemon"). I need to bring it back and swap it for another new printer.

You have to contact HP almost impossible with the India and Pakistani language people answering phones. I’ve had this product for weeks now and it still isn’t hooked up, worthless. The geeks are no help whatsoever. Staff at another part of the store are unable to help also.

It also comes with an ink plan through Hewlett Packard. For low volume users like me, I get 15 pages a month free for the life of the computer. They have inexpensive plans for various levels of use. They sent me refill cartridges right away. They monitor my ink levels and, when I need replacements, they will send me replacements and a mailing envelope to return the old ones. Hard to beat that. It operates by wi-fi, but it can be plugged in if you have a cable that fits.
