Desk Jet Printer is working as advertised. I Initially compared to larger and HP Deskjet, however, product works effectively with less bells and whistles. Would recommend.

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to learn that your printer has experienced frequent paper jams and has used in more rapidly than you’d anticipated. Your exasperation comes as no surprise here. I want to help you remedy these problems, so I’ll suggest some information and resources aimed at reaching that end.

First, I recommend going through the steps to clearing and avoiding paper jams that you’ll find in this troubleshooting guide on our support site:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06556765

Next, regarding ink use, I can’t tell from your review how many pages you’ve gotten per set of cartridges or how that compare with their estimated page yields. The XL cartridges designed for your printer have estimated yields of 200 to 240 pages, while the regular size cartridges are expected to produce 100 to 120 pages. How cartridges perform in your own printer varies according to numerous factors, including resolution, how dry the air is and how absorbent the paper is.

Regardless, if your results differ dramatically from the estimates above, or the paper jam problem persists, I suggest you contact us directly so we can help you assess what’s happening and find a solution. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number:

I hate this machine. Too persnickety. I gave it one star because I can't give it zero. HP used to make workhorses. This is is s-l-o-wwwwww. Especially the scanner. I would like a good old fashioned printer that doesn't have to be connected to the internet. I will connect with cord thank you very much. Not productive at all.

Reviews are essential. When they aren't about delivery or customer service or anything other than the product. I should have listened to the reviews. Setup was not over complicated but it was not easy. It was very frustrating. So much so that I considered returning the product. Once setup is complete its easy peasy. But I tell you... tears were almost shed when attempting setup.

I've always put my money on hp as I've had good luck with them. My last printer was an hp envy and it lasted for years! I don't think the new printer will last anywhere near that. It's had so many issues with printing either direct/email or with the hp smart app. If I had the choice I'd have gone with something different. It's going to be interesting trying to make it last!

Going to return this product because it’s impossible to set up. I also read that it is prone to paper jams that are incredibly difficult to fix. If I were able to get that is connected to my wireless Internet I believe it would still be problematic
