Set up is needlessly difficult, requiring downloading an HP app instead of just having printer drivers available for download. The user experience is equally frustrating, with the printer sometimes not showing up even after being plugged directly into my Macbook Air. It's possible that the USB-C to USB-A adapter might be part of the issue, but I don't think so because it usually requires power cycling the printer to get it to work. I wouldn't recommend this printer

I thought the one on sale would be more like the simple one I had before but it wasn’t. At least this one was on sale so cheaper. I may have to change brands. They are flimsy too.
