BUT once you walk away - you literally have to unplug it to get it to "reset", be recognized on any previous device or literally work. No buttons work, you can't even turn it off by the off/on button - you must unplug it completely. Very disappointed in purchase

So you can't just print when you want. You have to reinstall it everytime. I've only had a short time. It is slow. Has a lot of paper feed problems. To get it back on line, sometimes it will come back if you unplug and replug it in. Not very good for a quick print. You have to use an app to scan, etc. I decided not to get it fixed, even though I've only owned it since Sep 20. (less than 6 months) HP charges you and sends you cartridges based on it talking to them. With it off line I'm not sure how it knows.

Maybe it's me.... maybe it’s user error... but when I go to the preferences 2 sided printing is grayed out. I love the printer but wish i did not purchase it due to something that should be a required function is not available.

I get an error the first attempt at printing every time 2nd time works. Printer cuts out on pages and misses them and cartridges barely lasted the fist thing I had to print out just a little over 100 pages of text. Worst printer I've ever purchased in my life.
