Plastic seemed somewhat poor quality. Not that easy (for me) to program. Directions that came with it were minimal. Few manual controls on the printer and it's geared to commands from the computer. Copying (paper to paper) is straightforward.

It does not do 2-sided printing without taking the paper out and reinserting it. There no directions for scanning.
