My old printer (an HP) stopped printing PDF documents, so I bought this, thinking the wireless function would be very handy. There is no documentation or step-by-step set-up, you just download an app with the sparsest instructions possible. I’m pretty tech savvy, but ended up on the phone with HP support for over an hour and got one sheet slowly printed wirelessly from my iPad. The tech wanted me to spend more time setting it up on my Dell laptop, but I said I’d call back. Before I could, they called me nearly half a dozen times, trying to push me to do it on their schedule. I didn’t have a free hour or more at that time, so they closed my case. When I was ready to go on, the printer would no longer even print wirelessly! The app just kept giving me a message that there was no printer! So frustrating! I would return to Best Buy, but the ridiculous 15 day window has passed, so I guess I own a doorstop. Absolute piece of junk!

I thought this would be a simple plug and play and I would be able to print documents from my iPhone. Very untrue. Super complicated and impossible for me to get working. So far no luck. I can’t believe with today’s technology that getting it working is so difficult. My next step is to take it out to my concrete driveway and throw it down on the ground as hard as I can. I will follow up with the sledge hammer and smash it into thousands of pieces. What a complete waste of $115 and a whole day of my time!

Complete waste if time. And I lost $245 because I had a computer tech try to get it to work. The printer was only$99.00 Ridiculous. I think HP should reimburse me.

The wireless capability isn't good, takes forever to print or worse yet, when you are waiting for a document or photo to print it just doesn't happen even after multiple resets. More user friendly than 4155. Also had to buy white bec. so many working from home must choose black! Must download the HP app, and no number pad on the printer’s control pad.
