I guess you get what you pay for. I had to return this item as it was very finicky connecting to WiFi and printing. Sometimes it would work and others it wouldn't. Then, it would randomly start printing. Worked better with my phone than Mac. Going for a better printer.

This is an OK multifunction printer. Nothing really bad but just a bunch of little things. First the pros - price there’s a lot of features for the $. Next setup was easy and straightforward. I already had the HP app on my mobile device and it picked it up right away. And very easy from there. Next print quality is really good and color seem to be accurate, not a great photo print but would do in a bind if needed. Next the sheet feed scanner works like a champ. Now the bad, the printer didn’t seem as solid as I would have expected, maybe I expected more because it’s HP than I should at this price proline but it seem a bit delicate however nothing broke during my review. Next it’s loud much more so than other I have had. Next is the ink and cost, please I have not signed up for HP+, I just used the ink that came with it and it does seem to go as far as HP states. Based on that I would anticipate the ongoing cost to be a bit higher than than others in this price range. Next I had a few connections losses during the review period. Nothing major that required a reinstall just a print reboot. All in all nothing major wrong just a few annoying things and the thought that there are better printers in this price range. That being said if I was in the market and it was on sale I would still recommend it for the price and features.

Online setup is difficult. It prints a lot of instructions right off the bat once you figure out how to connect to wifi. It doesn't like to wake up and sometimes I need to unplug and plug it back in. Prints slowly. Double sided printing is manual so you have to re insert the printed page correctly. Works as expected otherwise.
