They want you to order ink online two months for free. But they want your credit card. So the ink replacement isn't really free. I don't like that everything is online in order to use this printer. I will continue to use it until I can afford to get another one.

Unfortunately the opposite has been true. I've spent more on ink for trying to get the cartridges to clean and align than I have on actually printing. I had thought maybe this was an issue with the cartridges that I had originally received so I ordered more. By the time I got new cartridges, I was outside of my return period so I'm stuck with this. On top of poor printing (words completely smeared and misaligned), the power button no longer wakes up the printer. The only way I can get this on is to unplug the power cord and plug it back in.

Got no more than 20 prints out of it, then it stopped working! Gave me an EE error which can't be found anywhere to troubleshoot. I contacted HP and they informed me it's a hardware malfunction. Only solution is to "try" and bring it into bestbuy for an exchange. It's passed the return/exchange policy already. I spent $100 on 20 prints and a lot of patience watching the printer slowlyyyyyyy spit out the paper. Second HP printer I've owned and both are extremely disappointing. I used to have the HP envy but if decided to quit connecting to wifi ultimately. HP customer service is also very lacking and offer poor solutions with high effort to have you purchase their ink products. Unfortunately, this will be the last HP printer for me.
