Only gave it one start because you have to give it something. I can never print anything there is constant error messages and busy signals when I try to print. I have tried to use the app and other means and it is always the same. Printing something when it works seems to take a half hour,

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has performed so poorly. I can easily understand why unexplained error messages and lengthy waits for prints would be a tremendously frustrating combination. With that in mind, I’ll offer some resources and information I hope will help.

First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various problems, including wireless connectivity issues. There you’ll also find a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common printing and scanning issues. Visit that page here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics

If any problem persists, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and help you find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

It is very difficult to print and have to remove the devise from my laptop and set up every time I need to print. Very Very frustrated at this point. It is the second HP printer I have bought with the same problem. I have reached HP customer support, which they fixed, but just for that day.

A very good price on a quality Inkjet Multifunction All in One Printer that’s lightweight, easy to set up and has a print resolution in both color and black/white of 1200 DPI and up to 4800 x 1200 dpi in color print. Through various print apps it easily connects to all my mobile and desktop devices, and I can print from our laptops, desktops, iPads, and iPhones seamlessly. There is an equal Android app that facilitates the same for individuals using those mobile devices. The footprint is relatively small too, which is nice considering all it can do. The printer is 16.9 inches wide, 13.1 inches deep and 7.9 inches high. It only weighs 10.63 lbs. The printer ships with one black cartridge and 1 color cartridge. The color cartridge combines the colors of CMY into one. The document feeder can hold up to 35 sheets of up to 8.5 x 11.7-inch documents. The printer prints, letter and legal size, envelopes, cards, labels, and on various photo paper sizes, but the original size of the document needs to be no larger than 8.5” x 11.7”. The input tray can hold up to 60 sheets, but the output tray has a capacity of 25 sheets. This is very adequate for printing bank statements, education documents, etc. Besides its air print capabilities, the HP 4155e also has a USB 2.0 interface as well as Wi-Fi. It can copy black and white pages at a speed of 6 ppm or color pages at 3 ppm. The dpi of the Inkjet’s copy function is reduced to 300 x 300 which still gives a nice crisp clean copy. Scans were sharper and up to 1200 x 1200 dpi. With the 35-page document holder, the Hp 4155e lets you scan efficiently to the cloud and email. HP offers 6 months of ink for free if you enroll in their HP + ink program during setup, which you can alter or cancel at any time. Upon joining the ink program, HP will extend the warranty of the printer from 1 -year to 2-years. I see this as an ecological win as the cartridges are mailed to you upon return of empty cartridges which HP recycles. Prepaid envelopes are used and if you depend on your printer like I do, you are less likely to spend a late evening or Sunday afternoon looking for ink replacement cartridges as they would have been conveniently mailed to you as needed. This is a very good printer for small business, home and especially high school and college students. The 6 months free ink is definitely a win and the printer prints, copies, and scans very well. It was very easy to set up and is very light to transport. Priced just above $100, I definitely recommend this purchase if you are looking for a dependable, quality printer.

Not worth the money. In 2 weeks ink ran out because the printer sets a page limit for ink....I highly doubt our house printed 200 pages to suddenly run out of ink. I prefer another brand but due to limited supply in pandemic, I was stuck with this bare bones product.

      Hello there,

I’m really sorry to know that your printer’s yield was not as much as you had expected. Please, let me help you to understand what happened exactly and also how to improve the number of pages available to print.

Please, considers these tips to improve the yield of your cartridge:
      - High density prints (such as photos, for example) usually use more ink than low-density prints (such as text, for example), especially if the type of paper absorbs more or if the environment is particularly dry.
      - Using the “draft mode” option when printing can help save ink.
      - Turn off the printer at intervals when it is not being used, it helps prevent the cartridges from drying out.
-You could consider accessing the Instant Ink service, which sends you new cartridges when you need them, with flexible monthly plans for your needs. You can find our official Instant Ink site by searching the web using the keywords “HP Instant Ink.”

I would also like to point out that the first cartridges that are delivered with the printer are only “SETUP- cartridges” to set up and calibrate the printer. They, therefore, have less ink inside.
