Bought this to replace a very old HP printer that had lasted for years. After difficulties getting it setup, printer has worked well. I do miss the panel which displayed ink levels, types of functions, messages, and detailed information. Now have to go into a program separately to get this information. Also have to remember what various lights mean-no longer shown on the panel. Another case of improving to make it more difficult to use.

this is a piece of GARBAGE! HP keeps all of the files in their cloud, you cant set it up, I have to have 2 service requests that I waited a week for and here I am a week later and the printer is no longer working- says its offline, which doesnt mean a thing if the brand new printer I got on May 8th, was fixed on May 15th, and is no longer working after $99 for the printer, 2 extra print cartridges, then an extra $99 for the 2 service requests. I have spent close to $300 for this nightmare and for what?? . Even the Geek squad dude said he hates working on them and some he cant even get to work at all. And the topper of them all is I forgot my password, FINALLY logged in thru gmail and found my account, only to see that I cant return anything, Printer, ink cartridges, NADA cuz I missed the deadline by 2 days.

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve encountered such difficulty with your printer. It’s no surprise that you’ve so frustrated, considering the device has not worked like it should and you’ve had to pay extra for supplies and technical support from the retailer. I want to help you resolve this situation, so I’ll provide a resource and some information I hope will accomplish that goal.

I can’t tell from your review why your printer has performed so poorly. However, HP+ printers come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts who can help you assess what’s going on and find a solution, go to the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number:
      - hp.com/plus-help

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers basic support, hardware and ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

Printer is slower unless printing in draft mode. Usually like HP printers but this one has been harder than my others to get set up and printing right.

Have had this printer for just under a year. Used to the HP AIO's with a screen on it and went a little cheaper this time around. Really wish I hadn't. - Difficult to diagnose issues. Lights on it have flashed multiple colors and then a hard reboot fixes it, no idea what the issues were. - Ink does not last long at all. Cartridges are some of the smallest I've seen for an inkjet. And by not long, I mean less than 2-3 months on average. By comparison, the AIO 6900 series would last at least 6 months with similar printing needs. - Double-sided printing requires manual intervention to flip the paper over and refeed. - Aligning printhead and other similar functions are a pain. Pros - Wireless - Smaller footprint than other AIO's

Quick and easy setup. Great print quality and clear copies. Great multi-use printer, especially for the price. Only con is where the paper is stored - I wish it was not external, but not a deal-breaker.

Works good but sometimes says the printer is offline and you must turn it off and back on. This wastes time in the printing process.
