Home printer copier
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent printer copier for home use. In stock and inexpensive. My store rep was very helpful. This is not a defect of the printer but if you have iffy wifi it may take a few attempts to print from your phone. Overall very satisfied.

Dissapointing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer prints rather slowly but the quality of the prints is good. A free six-month ink subscription came with the printer and I have had one ink delivery in the month since I bought it. I am a little skeptical that this will actually work out long term but I am willing to see how it goes. What I don't like at all about this printer is that after a period of non-use (say a day or two), the printer goes "offline" and it won't work. In order to make it work, I have to unplug the printer, wait thirty seconds, plug it back in and wait for it to reboot. This is really annoying. I am not quite sure why this continues to happen. I'm sure there is a solution but I haven't yet had a chance to try to figure it out or contact HP support. But it should not be happening in the first place.

Posted .Hi, Jasper.
Thanks for the review and the description of your experience so far. While I’m glad you like the print quality of your printer and that you’ve given Instant Ink a try, I’m sorry to hear that the device has gone offline frequently and has rendered prints slowly. It’s easy to understand why that would be a frustrating start to owning the printer. I want to help you remedy these issues, so I’ll direct you to some resources I hope will accomplish that goal.
First, I recommend that you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various tasks and issues, including printer-offline and other connectivity difficulties. Visit that page here:
- support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
You might also gain useful information by following a guide on our support site that covers improving print speed; choose whichever of the following two links matches your operating system:
- Windows: support.hp.com/us-en/document/bud03409
- Mac OS: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01928898
If any problem persists, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

Nice value in a small unit.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice printer/copier/fax. Very good value for the price. It prints and copies fast for a small unit. The only downside is that the extender does not automatically come out when you print. I would recommend.

Simple printer for average, basic needs
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with my purchase. This printer is affordable AND works well. The only thing that gives a little hiccup is when it pulls for paper. I have to push it down almost every time it needs a new piece but its STILL 5 star purchase.

Just average - not for substantial use
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to replace an older HP that has served me for many years, but the heads aren't aligning correctly anymore. This HP seemed very flimsy in comparison. Instead of a dedicated paper drawer, there is a shute that pops out of the back to hold the paper. It felt easily breakable and also the paper would get dusty. Also, only two cartridges (black and color) instead of separate red/yellow/blue color cartridges, which I felt would result in more cartridges as if you used up a lot of blue, you would have to replace the entire cartridge instead of just blue as I do now. Not a good investment for me, as I print a lot of stuff. Returned and will continue to look for a better value.

Good Printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is OK, but not fantastic. I ordered it because it has the document feeder, which is needed, when scanning multiple pages into one file. It does not offer custom sizing for copies, which was a disappointment. Six months of Instant Ink is a plus! I love Instant Ink - best thing ever! I own 6 printers and they are all HP. HP printers are the best.

Once you can get it setup, its amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive been struggling for days to get this thing set up. I asked one of my more technically sound brothers and he informed me that the best way to set up printers via wifi is to utilize the 2.4ghz signals. Most printers can't really communicate through the 5ghz signal. BLEW MY MIND! Once i made that distinction, the printer setup was done in less than 2 minutes. Smh! Phenomenal printer otherwise.
