How do you do this? Follow the "Setup Guide." Once connected to wifi LET IT SIT FOR AN HOUR...it will update itself. You will know it's ready when it runs each of its motors for 1 or 2 seconds (as if you opened and closed the access door.) Now it prints, scans, and copies on my network, including phones. You'll have to do some hunting on Amazon to find usable non-HP ink.

It has been nothing but a headache since I purchased it. The printer's inability to print on envelopes is frustrating, and I've wasted so much time trying to troubleshoot this issue. Despite being located right next to the router, the printer still has connectivity issues, and I often have to restart it multiple times before it will connect to my network. To make matters worse, the HP Smart app is terrible. It's slow and unresponsive, and buggy. This is my 3rd printer and I expected much better from HP, and I regret wasting my money. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable printer.
