So, I'm back to HP, whose HP Smart software is easy to use for a wide range of users. It's got a small footprint, it scans and prints. I don't need much more than that. And it does this well. And...the ink prices are much better than they used to be! This's a good fit for my home office needs.

The one disappointment is that it does no have automatic two-sided printing, i.e., requires user intervention to flip the page - inserting the printed page into the printer to print properly on the flip side is not easy.

This laser printer can handle a lot of printing without running out of ink. Dependable and hardworking, this is an excellent choice

It tends to have a mind of it's own & clears out & shuts down on it's own. It's annoying having to reprogram a lot. (it's NOT our wireless connection - it's the printer).

My Printer

I haven't tried faxing yet because I don't have the need to fax very often. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that loading cartilages is not as easy as I would like. But other than that it is a great little printer.
