Easy to set up home wireless printer

Printer cannot be setup. Help is all online no person to walk you through anything. All suggestions tried. Will not see the laptop, smart setup nonsense is not working. Why is there no direct tech support phone number? What a joke

NOT EXAGERRATING. If you don't pay for the monthly HP Ink subscription, than you CAN NOT PRINT using the ink cartridges they sent you in the mail. I don't know if you can buy ink cartridges separately, because I just use the subscription, but beware, have your updated card information in the system, or you wont be able to use it.

Regarding Instant Ink, you’re correct that if you cancel your subscription, the Instant Ink cartridges in your printer will no longer work, but you can then buy cartridges from your preferred retail source at your convenience. Regarding availability, I just checked the Best Buy site as well as several other retailers for the HP 67, which is the cartridge designed for your printer, and all of them show XL as well as regular sizes of black and color varieties in stock.

Basic 3-in-1, but has no "PRINT PREVIEW" ability

I was not able to get it to work on WiFi, but I did not spend much time trying as I had the USB printer cable from my previous dead printer. Using that was an effortless hook-up to my windows desktop computer, loading HPSmart for windows was simple, and I am able to print scan and copy as needed. I only gave it 4 stars because a lot of my printing is from simple Text documents and there is way to set up " PRINT PREVIEW" for these using the HP drivers. So I have to "print" my text documents to PDF first to check for spacing and fitting on pages, etc. to avoid wasting ink and paper. Annoying and something even a basic printer should provide.

This may be small but it has made a big difference with the Bluetooth and printing capabilities. Love this! I also am enjoying Instant Ink!

Tells me "Ready" but will not print on command, then 20 minutes later I get a printout. I finally just used a printer cable for direct wiring and that works OK. The scan function is awkward to use, not at all like my previous HP All In One Printer which was great. The top feed of paper works well.
