If you want to scan documents DO NOT BUY THIS! Even though it's sold as a scanner, there is no way to scan documents from the item. Instead, you'll have to download the HP app, login in with your password, and then try to operate the scanning feature from the app on your phone. If you live alone, this might work for you. If you have other members of your family that want to scan, they will not be able to do it unless you give them your phone and let them navigate through the frustrating app in an attempt to figure out how to scan. This all could have been solved with a "scan" button on the actual unit, but apparently this was too costly for HP. Look elsewhere if you want a printer/scanner. This one is frustratingly complicated. I've had it too long to return, so it's going into my trash can tonight.

Unreliable wifi to print- would not reccommend

Even when my phone and laptop were connected properly to wifi, it wouldn't connect to print. I tried troubleshooting a million ways and got nothing from this printer. It worked the first few days I got it and since then has been completely unreliable and a huge waste of money.
