WRONG....... my son and grandson spent hours talking to a HP rep. Finally, after spending hours and I mean hours over a period of days, we got it to print. I left everything exactly as it was and went to sleep, guess what? the next day it wouldn't print, back to the HP rep. and after doing everything he said while still on the phone it still wouldn't print. The HP rep said I could get a cord to connect the printer to the chromebook and that they were universal so it didn't matter which one I got, guess what? WRONG again. After hours of researching, asking questions, waiting for answers, I finally ordered one from Amazon and if that doesn't work my son who's in charge of a large IT Dept. in Florida will be visiting and if he can't get it to work it's going back and it's the last purchase I'll ever make from Best Buy!!!!!!!!!

I went through all the steps required for connectivity. The process took over an hour. I printed a test document and then had to leave for an appointment. When I returned, I couldn't print a document.

HP 4100 series printers are garbage.

Geek squad told me that it would probably happen again. Returned product and 4 other customers were returning their printers for the same problem. Bought a Brother printer and have no problems.
