Nice Looking printer

I didn't realize until I opened the box that it feeds from the rear and that won't work in my setup. The printer looked nice and it was shrink-wrapped in the box which I like. I also noticed that the new printers mostly use the same ink. It's just one number to remember, then chose black or color and/or the extra large capacity. Best Buy refunded my money without any hassle.

Expect Stereotypical Printer Frustrations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a very tech savvy person but I couldn't get the firmware setup for this printer to work with my 2018 macbook pro. The setup window got stuck on "Thank you for your patience" for +/- 25 minutes. I tried to complete the process 3 times. I was able to print and copy but not scan. Printing 14 pages took 17 minutes. The quality of grayscale printing was acceptable but not excellent, which was in line with my needs and expectations for the price. After years of not having printer I will be returning this one after one night. Do better HP. If you can't come through on an all-in-one machine for just over a hundred bucks, that's okay. Do us all a favor and just skip making it. My time has been wasted.

Talked to someone for 3 minutes then was transferred despite my protest and waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes before hanging up and returning the printer to the store.

Setup was easy but getting it to recognize the Wi-Fi was a small challenge. My only complaint is that it is noisy. Sounds like it’s trying to print or grab paper every 10-15 seconds. My remedy is to shut it off after each use because the noise is annoying. It is also why I would not recommend it to a friend. Trying to find a number to call HP is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
