    Horrible Product

This printer sucks! The bottom line is that this printer doesn't do the ONE THING it's supposed to do, print, without a giant struggle. I just purchased this on 4/10/2021 and was only able to print once from my phone and once from my laptop. That was it! It's so unreliable I actually get anxiety every time I want to print because I am hoping that it will work. Set up went fine, but it'll just decide to be "offline" inexplicably and I have no way to fix it. I face a printer issue that just throws me off and makes me want to pull out my hair in frustration. It doesn't come with a cord, so god forbid you should just want to plug the thing into your computer the old fashioned way. The genius creators at HP decided they were too good for cords and didn't include it in the box, and yet having a cord would be the only way to actually be sure it will connect and do its job. I am very computer oriented, so there's no excuse for why this is such a struggle. My issue today which was the last straw was trying to print, and my computer gives me a "Looking for printer" message. Oh boy, now I know it's going to be one of THOSE times. I go to the printer and EVERYTHING is flashing: the power button, the "i", the tiny orange light in the corner, and the weird symbol that looks like a sheet of paper with a down arrow (whatever that's supposed to mean, I have no idea), and the tiny screen is flashing the wifi symbol, the letter E, and the ink icons. I honestly have no idea what this printer is trying to tell me the error is. I am just aggravated yet again with this garbage product. I am returning this today 4/11/2021 as soon as Best Buy opens. For the love of God HP, do some user experience testing and listen to your customers!

This printer was unusually user-Unfriendly. I needed to go to the 'Geek Squad' several times before I could get it to function correctly, and even THEY needed to spend extended time on it. It was very difficult to get it to link to my computer (Mac)...

"Poor" is being generous. Worst set-up and use experience with an HP product in 20 years. minimal documentation for set-up; purely concentrates on selling ink via WiFi connection. no explanation of errors; no Contact information to tech help; flimsy construction. Apparent software problem, will not scan more than one page per session, message : "Problem scanning Something went wrong. Please tray again" and trying "again" produces same results. Totally unreliable and therefore useless, reflects horribly on BestBuy and HP. previous scanner was Epson 4830, none of these problems, fried in thunderstorm, replacement not timely avaialble(tax season), settled for this junk (HP HAD been the gold standard for years, my bad.

    Not a network printer

We purchased this printer to replace another HP printer that had recently failed after many years of faithful service. We were not having to print as much as before, but needed something that we could print from any device on the network (laptop, tablet, phone, etc.) The HP4155e should have fit the bill. However, once we set it up, we were only able to print one document. Since it was not directly wired to a local laptop, it would go to sleep and we were not able to print from any device. We tried the app and other devices with no luck. We could not wake it up, either. The only way we could print was to physically unplug the power cord, then plug it back it and try to print. It defeats the purpose of having a "network printer" if you have to physically unplug it for each use. We are returning this for something a little more capable.
