Would return it if we hadn't thrown out the box.

So disappointed with this printer. I experienced the same connection issues that other reviewers posted...it took numerous attempts to get it to connect to our home network. The other issue is that it doesn't double-side. I guess it's my fault for missing that in the specifications when I was shopping online, but it never occurred to me that it wouldn't be a standard feature on every printer; the 7-year-old printer I replaced was not high-end and had that feature. If I could return it, I would definitely would. I'm so mad at myself.

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has failed to maintain a reliable wireless connection. It’s easy to see why that would quickly become frustrating, so I’ll offer some information and resources that I hope will help.

First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various problems, including setup and wireless connectivity issues. Visit that page here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics

If you still need assistance, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can guide you through the proper troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

Prints great in black or color text. Love the two, yes only TWO, large ink cartridges. Still printing with ones that came with printer. Cost to replace is a lot less then previous printer that used five cartridges. Very pleased with purchase.

You have to make an HP account and pay monthly in order to print paper. If not the printer will jot work. Even after you try to cancel your plan they will keep trying to charge. There is no way to print without internet or the account set up. Printer app works well with IOS but jot Andriod.

Easy to set up. I chose wi-fi and set up thru iPhone (hp123.com). I also chose the Instant Ink Membership ($2.99/month for 50 pages/month - enough for my use). For $36 a year, one cannot get ink cartridges at Amazon or Best Buy !!

I use this printer for scanning and printing about 125 pages a day for work; It is set up wirelessly and does a fantastic job; It can be set up for draft versions to save on toner and works like a work horse

I set up the printer fairly easily for the first time from my phone then computer. I printer 1 page and didn’t need to print for a few days. I went to print the next time and it took me a day to get it synced up with the computer again. After unplugging the printer and router and computer a few times each something reset and the printer didn’t have the orange information button highlighted. Hope it stays this way.

After my 8 year old Epson printer wore out, I thought I would give this HP 4155 a shot. After initial issues with it WiFi connecting to my laptops and phones, all seemed well. However, it later displayed it was offline and have to be powered off and on. It would put documents in the “q”, then print 4 of them because we kept trying to print. Next time it wouldn’t print again. Frustrating! I have already sent it back and bought another Epson. Easy connection and works great.

We had the predecessor version of this printer for more than three years and loved it. This new model is a ridiculous joke compared to the other. We could maybe print 20 pages before it alerted us we needed ink. You can't check ink levels in the cartridge. HP makes all their money selling ink so I suppose that's not a surprise. The awesome customer service at Best Buy means we were able to return this piece of junk for a Canon camera. Stay clear of this thing!

Hate that you have to use Wifi to use this. Even after I bought a cord to just connect it to my computer it still takes forever to connect. Miss the old types of printers

I like that this printer has a multi-page loading place for copying more than 1 page. It's definitely slower than my last printer at printing, and it really likes to throw my pages on the floor if I forget to extend the tray out more. Printing double-sided is a hassle because you need to manually flip the pages. The HP Envy I had last would do flip them automatically. However, I had to copy pages one at a time on it.

It says wireless, yet I am having to connect with a certain USB cord that’s not even provided. This product should not say wireless if you have to connect with a USB cord.
