The setup documentation could have been better. But it’s my first printer purchase in several years and first wireless one ever. Bottom line is I have no regrets with my purchase.

I'm giving this 3 stars because I could be the one not doing this right. It's a great looking printer. I printed about 10 pages from there and lately I've been having problems with the app. Everytime I try to print something I keep getting the message "HP Print Service Plug in has stopped". It's so frustrating idk if it's me doing something wrong or if the printer that I payed $100 for isn't working. HELP!!

This product needs some work. It cannot just be plugged in. You have to contact HP almost impossible with the India and Pakistani language people answering phones. I’ve had this product for weeks now and it still isn’t hooked up, worthless. The geeks are no help whatsoever. Staff at another part of the store are unable to help also.

Good for a fairly inexpensive printer. Not as easy to get started if you have no experience but we managed not much ink to get started. Black was out after 10 pages.

Going to return this product because it’s impossible to set up. I also read that it is prone to paper jams that are incredibly difficult to fix. If I were able to get that is connected to my wireless Internet I believe it would still be problematic

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to learn that your printer has experienced frequent paper jams and has used in more rapidly than you’d anticipated. Your exasperation comes as no surprise here. I want to help you remedy these problems, so I’ll suggest some information and resources aimed at reaching that end.

First, I recommend going through the steps to clearing and avoiding paper jams that you’ll find in this troubleshooting guide on our support site:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06556765

Next, regarding ink use, I can’t tell from your review how many pages you’ve gotten per set of cartridges or how that compare with their estimated page yields. The XL cartridges designed for your printer have estimated yields of 200 to 240 pages, while the regular size cartridges are expected to produce 100 to 120 pages. How cartridges perform in your own printer varies according to numerous factors, including resolution, how dry the air is and how absorbent the paper is.

Regardless, if your results differ dramatically from the estimates above, or the paper jam problem persists, I suggest you contact us directly so we can help you assess what’s happening and find a solution. The printer is light weight and compact. It also comes with an ink plan through Hewlett Packard. For low volume users like me, I get 15 pages a month free for the life of the computer. They have inexpensive plans for various levels of use. They sent me refill cartridges right away. They monitor my ink levels and, when I need replacements, they will send me replacements and a mailing envelope to return the old ones. Hard to beat that. It operates by wi-fi, but it can be plugged in if you have a cable that fits.
