I’ve had to do hard resets every time I need to use it. It enters sleep mode and doesn’t wake up unless I unplug it and plug it back in. Scans good. But be ready to have issues with this.

HP customer support couldn’t even get it to connect to my MacBook. Three hours wasted on the phone only to be told they couldn’t get it to work. HP isn’t what it used to be.

If you’ve used only the cartridges that came with the printer, this could explain what you’re seeing.
However, if you’ve installed replacement cartridges, the XL cartridges designed for your printer have estimated yields of 200 to 240 pages, while the regular size cartridges are expected to produce 100 to 120 pages. How cartridges perform in your own printer varies according to numerous factors, including resolution, how dry the air is and how absorbent the paper is.
