Good at what it does

Never once had to connect it to my computer with a cable, was able to set it up completely over wireless. Does not duplex, but that was expected as it says it doesn't.

Sad showing HP

It's slow, very slow if it works at all. Poor tech trying to do current everyday things like email printing, mobile printing, direct connect, etc. Non of it works properly and when it does print it takes forever. HP is usually dependable, but they drop the ball on this printer.

It may work for some, but not us.

It won't stay connected to the Internet and won't connect at all with one of our computers. But has no problem connecting with my husband's phone. Easy enough for him to save everything on his computer to Google drive and then go his phone and print. NO, it is ridiculous.

TERRIBLE

It loses wifi connection when all other devices don't, even when connected it only works half of the time and stops mid-print, wasting paper. I print 10 copies, it prints 7. SO frustrating. AND there is no screen to see what error it's showing. Sometimes it just flashes the light with no error code. It's 2 months old and I am buying a new one.. the 3830 I had before this.

I got the impression that I was an interruption to their daily routine. They could not answer any questions and didn't seem interested in asking anyone else. I had some difficulty setting up the printer and was very unhappy with the speed of printing. I printed a six page document that took 18 minutes. A single one page spreadsheet took over 6 minutes.

HP Printer- Great Option

I’ve had two HPs that lasted about three years each. Bat was not set too high. But this machine forced me to switch to Epson. Set up per instructions but was unable to connect with my WiFi. Called customer service they couldn’t figure it. Glad I purchased at Best Buy, easy return.

First, there was not meant to be a six-month supply of ink included with the printer. Rather, your printer purchase included an option of six months free in our Instant Ink program. In this program, you choose the number of pages you’d like to print monthly, and replacement cartridges are shipped as needed based on usage. You should have had the opportunity to enroll in this free trial offer when you set up the printer.
