It's SO difficult to load paper, and it holds very little -- no good for large jobs. The ink cartridges are small, so it runs out of ink quickly. The screen is tiny and gives very little information. It only prints one-sided. I've had it almost two years and regretted my choice every day. I loved my 6968, but hp doesn't make it anymore so I had to replace it with something else. (Although the 6968 lasted only two years, which isn't great.)

First, this model does have a manual two-sided-printing feature. I recommend you consult the main user manual on our support site to learn how to use it. Scroll to the section in the table of contents labeled Print, then click on “Print using a computer” to be taken to that section. Find that manual here:

Regarding ink use, I can’t tell from your review how many pages you’ve gotten from each set of cartridges or how that compares with their estimated page yields. The XL cartridges designed for your printer have estimated yields of 200 to 240 pages, while the regular size cartridges are expected to produce 100 to 120 pages. How cartridges perform in your own printer varies according to numerous factors, including resolution, how dry the air is and how absorbent the paper is.
If your page-yield results differ dramatically from the estimates above, or you need assistance with any other matter, you do have options. HP printers have a one-year warranty from the purchase date that covers basic support as well as hardware and supplies – and that extends to two years with an HP+ account. If i turn off the printer it goes offline and whatever i do it does noy go back one. I have had it for two weeks and i was only able to print twice.
