I’m giving three stars because your instructions could have been better. After the initial set up and the WiFi was connected, I couldn’t print wirelessly because I kept getting password error. Almost two weeks in I printed the printer info which generated a password. I used the password and it worked. It would have been nice to know this because I was about to return the printer.

I am well pleased with this HP Printer. I searched high and low in the marketplace both on-line and in different local stores for the "All-in-One" Printer best suited for my home office. This model came in as the best in quality and value for my low volume needs - at a great price! I would highly recommend this HP Model to others. Easy set up and very user friendly.

Very useful, and cost effective. Setup is complicated by the necessity of a cell phone and the use of an app. It was listed as linux compatible, but be careful of the version of your OS. Ubuntu 18 doesn't work but 20 does. I had to upgrade my computer just to be able to use the printer. The black HP67 ink cassette was out of stock on the HP site and practically everywhere else as well. Managed to find one but had to pay 2X the normal price.

Literally the Worst Printer I’ve EVER Owned

This printer has been so terrible from the very beginning and it’s only gotten worse. Connecting (which normally is pretty convenient once you get it on the WiFi network) was IMPOSSIBLE. I’m very tech savvy and it was a mission that I never actually accomplished. When I CAN get it to print it jams and gets ink all over the paper. This printer has been the most stressful purchase I’ve ever made. Bestbuy’s limited 15 day return policy is also unreasonable and inconvenient. I will not be purchasing anything further from Bestbuy and also have lost my longstanding loyalty to HP printers.

      Hi, Robert.

I’m sorry to learn that your printer has performed so abysmally. It’s easy to understand why problematic connectivity followed by frequent paper jams and ink streaking would be quite a shock after buying a new device. I want to help you resolve this situation, so I’ll direct you to a resource and some information aimed at making that happen.

I can’t tell from your review why the printer has not connected reliably and experienced such frequent paper jams. I suggest you contact us directly so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. I’ll point out that HP+ printers come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number:
      - hp.com/plus-help

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:

    Not professional grade

The mandatory HP app for setup and operation is tedious, and there's a glitch that times you out in the middle of setup, then refuses to accept the password you just created. Says it's invalid. I changed my password 5 times today while doing the initial setup. If you don't successfully complete the setup, some features, like scanning and document feed are inoperative. Speaking of scanning, hope you like the .jpg file because they do not even offer .pdf in the menu. I know its not an office machine, home use only, but really. . . Oh and the help/support function is clueless on the password and interrupted setup problems. There is no phone number for anything if you want help. This might be a good system for your school aged kids, but professional grade?? Different ballpark. Just a shot in the dark on 3 stars for quality, no idea since I just opened the box this morning. I cannot in good faith recommend this product based on today's first impressions. I seriously considered putting it back in the box and returning it.

      Hi there.

It’s no surprise that you’re considering a return, given that you’ve endured difficulty with software and connectivity as well as the scan function and our online help system. I can’t tell from your review what’s causing these problems or whether they’re related to one another. The printer works well once it was set up, but setup was not even close to easy like they say. Had to google help to figure out how to install. It was not plug and play.
