Setup was Very Difficult Many days wasted. Use of HP support with chat finally got it done. Never did get a call back from live support.

THE WORST !! , Set up is super confusing , HP harasses you into setting up an account with them in order to be able to scan documents . Then after I literally spent two hours jumping through every hoop Imaginable , the app doesn’t work. Can’t scan directly from the computer. Insane ! I really got this specifically for scanning , what a waist of time and money.

This is the most annoying printer ive ever had. Always a light on for somthing . Usually the I light. And wont turn off My last two printers were cannons . I loved them. Seen this on sale and said sure why not. My cannon had stopped . And i homeschool. I have to waste so much time trying to get this one to work .its horrible. I thought was 30 day return but seen was 15 or it would have went back. Now i have to go buy another printer. I dont have time to be fighting with no printer. Garbage

I would rethink this as it is a back feed model. I prefer the front paper tray. I didn’t look close enough. It is also difficult to keep the computer and printer connected and the red light stays on. It wastes paper getting started so you use up your monthly page limit just getting started.

This stylish and compact printer has been working quite well, but there are some issues: Set-up: The Wi-Fi connection would not connect, so to set up the printer through the on-line procedures I needed to use the USB cable. One did not come with the printer, but, luckily, I kept the old one. Once connected, the set-up procedures were okay but care is needed to follow the correct steps. (Always keep the old cables and cords from the old printers.) Insta Ink: The process to switch to this new printer is found on the HP App, but, the instructions to hold down two buttons on the printer to connect to the HP server to make the change took too many attempts and wasted time. Loading paper: It takes many attempts, and takes too much time, to load the paper so it sits correctly in the printer for printing. There continues to be a lot of hits-and-misses in loading the paper into the printer. I have yet to change the printer cartridges. I have yet to do any big job with this printer, but I like the design very much, and outside of the paper loading, it works well, thus far.

I am extremely disappointed with the HP DeskJet 4155e printer. It has been nothing but a headache since I purchased it. The printer's inability to print on envelopes is frustrating, and I've wasted so much time trying to troubleshoot this issue. Despite being located right next to the router, the printer still has connectivity issues, and I often have to restart it multiple times before it will connect to my network. To make matters worse, the HP Smart app is terrible. It's slow and unresponsive, and buggy. This is my 3rd printer and I expected much better from HP, and I regret wasting my money. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable printer.

I’m giving three stars because your instructions could have been better. After the initial set up and the WiFi was connected, I couldn’t print wirelessly because I kept getting password error. Almost two weeks in I printed the printer info which generated a password. I used the password and it worked. It would have been nice to know this because I was about to return the printer.

Got the printer today and got it set up. It took a little effort the get it connected to wi-fi but nothing too difficult. The printer is similar to the old printer which is a simple printer, scanner, fax combination that works for my needs. I like that the paper feeds from the rear which helps to prevent paper jams.

Good for home use. Scanning and printing makes a perfect choice.

My mom needed a printer, this was fair priced and a trusted brand. No problems as of yet, easy set up.
