One Win laptop can do all functions, other one can only scan and not print directly. On that one to print I have to email the document to the printer after turning the document into a .pdf file, Does print very well and speedily.

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you follow the steps for set up it will try to get you to sign up for an HP printing account and get you onto a subscription based service for cloud printing and automatic ink cartridge shipments, if you go around this, the printer seems to work fine for a short amount of time before having weird problems, blank pages printing, printed pages not seeming to match selected print settings, or pages coming out with missing parts or weird artifacts. If it determines it is "low" on ink it will try its best to prevent you from printing documents, even though its still capable of printing several dozen pages at reasonable quality once you do get them to print. Based on my experience with this and other HP printing products, I would never recommend them, even to my worst enemies. There is no one on earth that deserves to go through the frustration of owning this device.

Be careful on setup

HP customer support was worthless. I was able to resolve the setup myself after several hours and several attempts with HP support. Follow the instructions in the manual carefully. Once setup, I'm very satisfied with the quality of the printing.
