I am so happy with this new HP. A Sony Vaio I bought at Best Buy hung in there 9 years with me. I finally had to say good by after it finally went dark on me. Several trials of various laptops and sizes and finally found this one and brought it home. It's a keeper as I said above. It's quiet. It's quick. The sound is great from the speakers. The backlit keyboard is a dream both during the day & night ( easy to look at and read the keys). I love my 17 inch screen with the beveled edges. Color is crisp. Many levels of adjustment to the brightness & sound. So many layers to what this HP has to offer and I'm enjoying every minute of using my new BFF.

Upgraded from previous HP Envy with Windows 7 to this HP Envy with Windows 10. Speed of laptop is very good and enjoy ease of using Windows 10. Good weight on laptop to use anywhere and great for working at my home work desk. Syncs very well with printers and network. Like how scan links automatically to printer to display scanned files.

This is a great laptop. My previous laptop died....hardware failure....and I needed a replacement quickly. After a lot of online research, this is what I chose. I purchased it on 10/21/2019, so am very familiar with how it works. Very easy to set up and begin using. Excellent graphics. I do a lot of photo editing, and am extremely pleased with the quality of graphics and especially the overall responsiveness of this laptop. I would highly recommend it, and would definitely purchase it again. The sound quality is not stellar, but it is absolutely fine for everyday use. If you want to use it for music listening or movie watching on a regular basis, you might want to purchase external speakers or a different unit altogether.

My six year old HP laptop decided to die a horrible blue screen death one night right in the middle of some work I was doing. Naturally I had not backed it up in quite some time so it was really a disaster. In any event, I have had very good luck with HP computers and was so happy to find this one, it looks great, works great, has a back lit keyboard which is really nice. It boots up instantly due to the solid state drive. Surprisingly, it came with a disk drive which most new computers don't have any more. It is not particularly heavy, sits nicely on my lap and the large screen is really great. A very impressive computer!

I needed a replacement for an older Windows XP laptop that just couldn't cut the mustard anymore. I knew I wanted a laptop with an SSD drive for added boot speed and this model has a 512 GB SSD drive and an Intel i7 CPU. Of course there's no comparison with my older laptop. This model also has a touch screen so that's an added plus, and also a includes a DVD player for all my old software. Setup was simple with the new laptop walking me through the entire process. I would have rated it five stars, but it was a little heavier than I liked. Still, that's to be expected for the size of the machine and what it contains.So far that's the only con I have.

Very easy to use. I think computer is faster than our internet service. I find it more than adequate for my use. Only problem I find with it, is that I can't take the battery out of it as I only use it occasionally at home where I prefer to plug it in to the power when I want to use it.Other than that, it's great

I bought to use for my freelance graphic design work and it works great. It loads the Adobe programs pretty quickly and I've been really impressed with the speed. The touchscreen is a nice feature and large screen display is helpful.

I've only had this computer for a couple of days, but so far am loving it. Nice touch with keyboard, large and crisp touch screen. Easy to set up and fun to use!

High speed, easy to use, easy to view with the 17.3 inch screen! The Geek Squad guy set it up so it would be similar to how I was used to seeing my old Windows 7 laptop and showed me how to use it. He also transferred all my photos and documents, which was such a convenience (I paid for the yearly service contract and the Web root security). They made it so easy for me. I am enjoying my new, fast HP Windows laptop and so glad I got it.

Had to upgrade from my old Toshiba and this was the perfect choice. Great speed, storage, large, beautiful touch screen and sleek design. Super easy to set up. Have been pleased with HP desktop we own so felt confident with purchasing this laptop.

Just bought a week ago and love it -- except keys could definitely benefit from more contrast. LOVED fingerprint scan login until it stopped suddenly 48 hrs into my laptop honeymoon glee. Happened about the same time I installed Norton (heard, for some, that can kill scan; by the way, uninstalling MacAfee was arduous!) Was still puzzled so I dug deeper. Drivers --- and all software -- up to date (hope so considering this arrived at BB from HP July 10th). There may be other fixes but this worked for me: Simply go to Windows (10) settings 1. Account 2. Sign-in options 3. Windows Hello Fingerprint 4. Set-up (again by repeatedly depressing and rolling finger on little scan pad as automatically instructed) (OK, so pretty obvious to many more technically savvy than me. This would have been a bigger 'duh' if I had done these exact same steps before, but then I remembered initial set up program had walked me thru fingerprint set up seamlessly the day I opended the box) Hope this helps you!!

This HP Envy has everything I need plus more ... love the touch screen and still getting use to it (never had one before) ... love the 17 inch screen ... the speed is probably more than I need but then I'll be keeping this HP for the long term

I needed a good laptop that could handle photoshop. I searched for a laptop with a large screen, great graphics and fairly sizeable memory. Found it all and more in the HP Envy 17.3 touch-screen Laptop. I'm loving the Envy!!!

This envy 17.3 i7 Intel is lightning fast! It's capable of performing multiple tasks at once and it never slows down. You also can't beat the great display of rich colors this screen has. Backlit keyboard is awesome too.

Love my new HP Envy laptop!! It's not as heavy as my old one which is nice. Still like having the 17" screen - just easier for me personally. Keyboard has a great feel to it - everything is very easy to use/navigate.

I’ve had my computer a few weeks now, definitely love everything about it so far. Fast processor. Touch screen is handy. I love the sleek style. Audio/video is very clear and distinct. One of the few laptops that still come with a disc drive, love that! It was a little more than what I was looking to spend, but I think it’s worth the price.

Love this laptop. Runs fast, very good battery and like the touchscreen. Haven’t used some of the writing features yet. Not a fan of MSOffice360...with the laptop it hiccups some verses on my PC.

Large screen, thin profile, dvd drive and number pad. Excellent laptop if you are looking for somehting larger than what's considered the norm these days. Great replacement for a desktop.

I love the speed of the i7. The 4 speakers are loud enough to hear. I also like the backlighted keyboard.
